The JJM volume take is interesting in that passing is about rhythm and if he was good at 4-6 a game with no rhythm, logically, he would be better at a higher rate. Other than the TCU game, the kid made the right reads and throws in the most crucial moments of games, especially the most important games. Even in the TCU game, he kept fighting to the end, despite the two pick 6s. That said, Klatt rating him #5 and Penix #4 is telling.
