That was the main reason I had to finish my stream before the game. I tested the setup and streaming my camera and game to Parabellum just took too much of CPU combined with EU4 and Streamlabs

Timer should be paused for restarts. The lost years and game time is punishment enough, and having the actual closing and launching of the game factor in with the time benefits only players with much faster PC’s

It's kinda weird to me that players are getting such low success. In the Ironman mode, 1.36 as Brunei, I got 16 provinces in 33 minutes. My first try, no testing, no "nocb wars". If I wasn't so lazy, I would've spent another 30 minutes colonizing and treating my coalition. But I guess it's possible to get 25 provinces in an hour, or up to 35 if you try hard.

Brunei is a solid pick, although Kutai will always hold a special place in my heart. One of my very first playthroughs, as I wanted to have a chill colonial game (not in Europe). Went berserk in the first 100 years, then enjoyed my life in peace colonizing Mexico and 'stralia. Accidentally got the "The Spice must flow" achievement; good times!
