The crappie magnet is one of the most versatile lures ive ever used. Its my go to for crappies, stream trout, stream trout in lakes, perch, walleyes during mayfly hatches. Almost always using a bronze painted tungsten head with the bison coloring which is gold belly/black top. Justa great generic buggy pattern but can also pass for small creek chub imitation.

Highly underrated. It's my favorite smallmouth lure and my favorite trout lures as well. In green on a tungsten jig they catch walleye and perch like crazy as well just a great generic pattern that flat out imitates many things and catches fish

Saludos.

I’ve had great results on plain chartreuse crappie magnet 🧲. Crazy how that bait lives up to its name. Love them. The Mardi Gras color is a great color as well.

It really matters where you are at , I fish two lakes that are actually connected by a pipeline. Colors that work in one , won’t get looked at in the other, same with sizes and body styles . Both are good crappie lakes .. one is stained to muddy the other is usually slightly stained to gin clear .
