I'm 65 and retired from two stressful vocations(Law Enforcement and Nursing). With all the strife and anger and evil in the world currently, and my past coming back to haunt me occasionally, I am so thankful for your channel. I can shut out the sadness and pain, join you all at the farm, breath some fresh air ,and most important, watch some wonderful people work hard to provide for this Nation. I don't have a lot of my own family left, so you all have become surrogates! A loving farm family who works and plays hard. You lift me up! God bless you all! Mark from Texas

"When you're done working, you watch other people's misery..." lol the quotes need to go into a kinda' Farmer's Almanac situation.I watched with joy as the harvesting was going oh so well;yet with a tinge of trepidation :(.I honestly don't know how you guys do it year after year and yet still retain that honest pleasant attitude with a snarky sense of humor. Hats off to all farmers,we need you guys, thank you.

Again you guys have the best videos and I’ve learned a lot from everyone, and I’m 62 years old. Nikki, you are a saint putting up with Him! Just kidding, everyone especially Doug O seem to be great people. I really miss the farm life, but your videos and others fill a void. Sincerely, I am hoping God has a corn field for us all to tend to for eternity! Blessings from Ohio....♥️

In 1997 I was working for a custom harvester. We were taking off winter wheat near Blackwell Oklahoma and I ran into an unmarked/abandoned oil well with a JD 9610 with a 930 header. It was some heavy damage! We worked late into the night at a local weld shop and with some parts from John Deere Harvest support I was running next day. I damn near got thrown through the window and was a bit sore for a day!

Just found ya'lls Chan the other day. Great content, and a big thanks. Reminds me of when I was young. We didn't have a large operation, mostly raised/trained big drafts like Clydes and Belgians for that nice Amish money. After the old man passed just didn't have it in me to keep going, but it's nice to see some mn boys doing what we do best.

Sorry about your combine going down. Never fails at harvest time. That rod really did a job on the header bar-wow. Knowing you, you got it fixed and going. Good job. Your two way radio took a bad hit though. No fixing that one. Little humor in that. Good video on harvest and the ups and downs. That is farming. You all do great rolling with the ups and downs. Necessary thing to survive in this occupation. As always, appreciate the videos and all of your attitudes. Good going. Iowa farm boy from years ago.

We hit a similar piece of wire like that this year on our 30ft header. With some well placed pieces of wood and a 16 pound hammer we carefully put the header up and down a little at a time and a few new fingers and blades, we was going again in 90 minutes
