Finally got caught up on bike build videos. Looking great so far. The screen door pattern was a definite no go. Liking the shield now.

Nice work. I always save old heat shields for our builds. I've pieced quite a few together from scraps. I'm going to be doing some heat shields on Lindsey's brat bike most likely

Hi. First one looked like your grandma’s skirt! Glad you didn’t go with that one. Redo looks ok but maybe try just some black mesh for contrast with the silver frame? Wayne.

Awsome work as usual man. Heatshield is going to look great. I would keep it in a brushed metal look. 😃👌

Looking good! What happens if you turn those vertical pieces in slight angle, like louvers?
@Beachmangarage5 жыл бұрын
That's a great idea! Maybe twist them in the vice a little so the transition is smooth. Thanks mate, may give it a go!

Respect for working at these temperature! What about to chrome the heatshield and the exhaust? Is is a budget matter?
@Beachmangarage5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Nothing else will be chrome on the bike, so just keeping it all the same
