I want to start off by saying, I fully understand the importance of medications and medical treatment when circumstances call for it. Some things require attention and care that only medical professionals have the knowledge and ability to provide.
My baby boy has spent his entire existence requiring heavy medical cares, in order to both *Save his life and to *Keep him alive (dating back to when he was still in-utero, before he had even been born). His ever-changing care plan will remain in place for the Rest of his life, due to his needs.
I am forever grateful for the options available for my son… and for our wonderful (vast in numbers) care team.
Though I know that Nutrition/Diet, too, is a very crucial part of healing/preventing/reversing dis-ease within our bodies.
I’ve been Vegan since 2017. Since 2019, I’ve spent the entire month of May eating (RAW) food only… leading up to my birthday each year.
Meaning: Only raw vegetables, herbs, fruits, nuts/seeds, sprouted grains (millet, quinoa, spelt, etc.), water.
Nothing cooked, preserved, processed, no microwaves/stovetops/ovens, nothing pre-made/packaged…and as usual no meat/dairy/animal products.
In this video, I quickly walk you through my annual (RAW month) process and share a few of my favorite recipes.
The mental is often more of a challenge than the physical.
Mind over matter.
Everyone who takes similar measures has their reasons for doing so. For me:
-My Health and Quality of Life (which affect both myself and those I love)
-My Love for Animals and their treatment/quality of life
-To be Knowledgeable & Conscious of what I’m putting in my body, and how it either hinders or helps me
-To have Awareness & Control of my body
Some bodily changes I personally experience each time I complete this process . . .
•The whites of my eyes brighten
•Skin is clear
•Energy is up/Less Fatigue
•Less brain fog
•Better sleep
•Weight loss
•No bloating
•Less aches & pains
•Improved mental focus
•Better digestion
•Physical tone & definition
•Improved endurance/stamina
etc.
