The entire premise of pairing him with Bert for a roast PowerPoint was a huge miss. Bert doing scripted laughter was hard to watch. I could see Tom questioning his life choices in that moment. Biggest live comedy show of all time. Terrible time to be experimental at a roast.

I dont think Jerry would ever agree to it. Hes too sensitive, he used to get all bent out of shape when people would bring up his girlfriend who was like 20 years younger then him. Tony hit the first 3 pointer on Tom's shoes, and never looked back. So good, he almost got ahead of himself as far as the cadence goes. If there is any critique it's he could've let some of the jokes breath a bit more. But every one was nothing but net 🎯
