All through my childhood we waited with great anticipation for 7:00 PM on Tuesdays to see Red Skelton. We never missed his show. The funniest man of all time. I saw him twice in person and never stopped laughing for his entire performance.

Truly a gentleman, genius, and just a flat out decent guy. No foul language for his humor! If you need to be vulgar to get a laugh, then you're not a comedian. It takes true talent to do what Red Skelton has/had spent a lifetime mastering. He is still sorely missed.

America's Clown Prince was blessed with the God given talent to make folks laugh....and that is why he got to stay around for such a long time....cuz folks need to laugh more.....especially is today's world.

God gave Red Skelton the ability to make people laugh....a great gift and talent....and even though we at ImaSportsphile web page who are responsible for posting this video along with 2300 more were not around when he was alive....we will forever be indebted to America's Clown Prince for the popularity that he has brought to our site....for with close to 2 million of our 6 million views in our first 2.5 years....he is by far the star of www.imasportsphile.com

Few people realize that much of the music we hear during his acts he actually composed himself ...this man was not only a comedy genius but also a musical talent beyond the norm for the music he wrote was perfectly suited to catapult his comedy acts to give it more expression in just the right measure and feel. . . It is not just the comedian we must appreciate here... but the superb musician he was as well ! I sure miss his top quality shows but the human being inside as well. . .

RoyalSnowbird, thank you so very much for your comment....for it gives me an even greater insight into the man....beyond the incredible ability to make all folks laugh without ever degrading or demeaning anyone...beyond the incredible artist who created many the finest collection of "Clown Art" that has ever been painted....and beyond his 70+ years that God allowed him to bring joy to folks all over the world....even beyond the rolle that Red Skelton will play as the most viewed video of the 11,000 vintage sports, comedy and music videos that I will post at www.imasportsphile.com (with 1500+ currently posted)....which will hopefully build Imasportsphile Academies all over the world to help orphan children have a place to grow up using the tenaments of sports as a teaching and developing tool.....for I have come to realize just how special this man truly was, is and will be....and your comment has broadened my scope....so, thanks!!!!

We at ImaSportsphile webpage really appreciate this comment....and we are sorry it took so long for us to read it....for Red Skelton was a genius at life....as he was a man who continually developed his God given talents throughout his entire life.....as a clown, as a comedian, as an artist.....and now we learn as a musician and composer. Simply put, we were not even a gleam in our daddy's eye when Red walked this Earth....but after posting 1800 vintage videos on our site over the past 2 years....we do know how much this man was loved....for his videos have been watched some 1.8 million times out of a total of 4 million hits on our site.
