Name aside, it’s hilariously ironic that a corporation would send one of its customers a letter saying they are valued only to get their name wrong from the outset. Obviously they’re not all thus incompetent and some actually do value their customers, but in my opinion this sort of thing *signifies* a corrupted corporate mindset that *couldn’t care less* about customers except for extracting as much money from them as possible. Which is why I recommend people buy from businesses that have a very strong *family-feel* in line with my previous comments on Tiktok about the majority individual shareholder having corporate responsibility, even if it costs a little bit more upfront. Although, this is “easier said than done” given cost of living issues, rising gaps in wealth & income, inflationary pressures, and a raft of other issues that need to be fixed to make everything *increasingly affordable* for most people.

a p and a d are fairly similar to misread/mistake both upper and lower case depending on the handwriting, so whoever was transcribing it from whatever form Karl had filled out or whatever database they obtained his information from, clearly got it wrong. Probably not malice but human error. But still hilariously ironic.

Yeah it's their real voices, the animation was done after the podcast. And Karl is usually pretty chill, they just draw him looking sad, for comedic effect I suppose

Karl winges a lot. That’s why Ricky and Steve included him on the show. He also sees the world differently than most and his anecdotes and viewpoints are unintentionally comedic.
