Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; the crooked straight, and the rough places plain.

Sung in true Tenor fashion. There are so many Tenors these days that are not true Tenors who sing these wonderful word/tunes. Listening to you, I can hear my father singing the same pieces. Your tonal qualities are just superb.

These two pieces are about as perfect an opener that a composer can get. The style sets the tone for the entire 'Messiah'. Comfort Ye...before laying out the case of the Biblical texts of prophecy. i.e. relax - everything will be fine...this is what will happen. You are in the perfect state of being for perfect timing. No one is ever in the wrong place at the wrong time. They may think that they are. But no. Lessons. All there are is lessons. Whether we decide to interpret anything as 'not worthy' of what You think is happening to yourself. It is perfect and the answer is painfully simple.

What a beautiful tenor voice. So lovely an opening to Handel's Messiah. I've never heard it performed with such true expression. And his runs are perfectly controlled. Handel's runs are the challenge of this oratorio.

Sublime phrasing, impeccable tempo, warmth and yet clarity of a voice whose desired flares, undulate so clearly and dance to perfection and without the slightest quivering, every moment in unison with an orchestra so just that we may wonder, who drives and who follows ... What else, if not bravo, excellent, a delicious treat with apparent ease so disconcerting that it would expurgate, doubly astonished by this word almost unfortunate, and at least willingly, if the purpose required, its paradoxical literality .. .!
@athanor8885 жыл бұрын
. But I'm happy for you, if your wide knowledges about music theories, or any instrumental practices, may help you to appreciate music or even only to distinct between heavens creations and masterworks from the common bullshit.... which has more probably inspirate your sterile, stinking and stupid comment.. I don't need or care any of your answer...Don't spend your precious time or talents.. and more over your so cheap and limitaded intelligence or even, who knows, any goodness...
