But, there's some problems with that theory. 1) the Red X suit has a voice changer to create that voice, so the voice doesn't really make the difference. 2) If it were another Dick Grayson that knew about the Red X suit, that implies he's made one himself, so why would he need to steal one? 3) Why would Dick Grayson call himself "kid"? 4) If he really knew all about the security system, why would he get discovered on the way out? My personal theory is that it's Grant Wilson, the son of Slade, which doesn't have any reason why he can't be older than Dick Grayson (so he can call Dick Grayson "kid"), he'd be trained by Slade, so him outclassing the titans makes sense, and he'd know all about the Red X suit because his father had plenty of experience seeing what the Red X suit can do and knew who had it. Also, Grant Wilson, being another Deathstroke, is already associated with skull themed imagery, so him wearing the skull mask of the Red X suit would be fitting.

In regards to the cartoon, I always thought it would be good if Red X was Grant Wilson since he never appeared in the show. I remember I had this whole theory about HIVE and how the reason Slade wanted Robin because he reminded him of his son. But as for the comics, I have no idea who Red X is. At first, I figured Damian but as it stands I don't think so.

I think they wanted to avoid involving death stroke’ s family with the new direction they took his character. Death stroke was driven by revenge and bloodlust, a killing machine fueled by raw emotion and decades of killing experience. Slade in the show was meticulous, unknown, and besides Robin, never let his emotions or personal attachments distract from his objective.

Red X always calls Robin "kid" implying he's older, and Robin in the show is confirmed to be Dick Grayson, and is still wearing the mantle, making the idea of getting through Jason Todd, Tim Drake, and Damien Wayne as Robin in that time highly unlikely. Even if it was Damien and he went straight to being Red X that early (despite it being likely that Damien would be less than 10 years old, given that Dick is still a teenager). I'd far sooner believe it's Grant Wilson, Slade's son, whom doesn't necessarily have a commonly known marker for how old he has to be compared to other characters and has the skills to outclass Robin.

Jason makes a lot of sense, but the mystery lacking a confirmed answer helps keep him popular. At least that was my thinking before this vid. If they add him to the main universe... well then that hamstrings his chances at anonymity and makes overlap with another Robin a less than stellar idea. It's still possible given some of the nonsense that former sidekicks and Titans members go through though.

I think Red X is a guy who goes by either the name Dave or Joshua. This would be based on the Teen Titans #20 from 1969. Red X has several similarities with Dave/Joshua and both names are actual names that he could have.

For years I been wondering who is Red X, ever since I saw the Old Teen Titian show I tried to find anything about him and eventually I found nothing. I was like Robin with Red X on my mind. If ask me personally, nobody will be Red X a forever mystery. But if Clown Hunter, Jason Tobb or ect become Red X I’ll be happy with it.

I hope his identity could remain a mystery, something about Red X being some mysterious figure that leaves the person watching to have their own theory's is kinda fun and no one knowing who he is adds onto his character and makes him more memorable ya know? That's one of the reasons we still talk about him til this day!

Personally I would love it if they Red X's identity secret for future state. That is the fun of his character and I think it would be amazing for comic readers to be placed in a similar position as ordinary people in the comics. Trying to guess not only who they are but also why they do the things they do.

I think Red X is going to have something to do with Sportsmaster. Like a child or an apprentice of him. It also makes sense since Sportsmaster is a Batman villain.

The clown hunter idea isn't half bad considering if you look at his color scheme as well as symbols on his fit he has X shapes on them...1being the emblem on his vest and the white x on his mask..hints are in plain sight

My theory is that it's Suren Darga. My second theory is Tim Drake because I saw the cover of Titans Academy and red x was in front of the class (possibly as a teacher). And if anyone would make a great teacher it would be him

I’m thinking Damien plus the art shown was a future present kind of thing plus Damien would be about a teen and nightwing is training red x (in a bio for the first issue)

I forget where I heard it, but there's a really good theory that season 6 of the Teen Titans tv show was gonna be centered around clones. Red X would be revealed to be a Robin clone, Terra from the final episode is actually a clone as well, and Starfire would have some character arc relating to this (she never got her own finale so yeah).

I personally prefer the theory that Red X is Grant Wilson, the son of Slade (Deathstroke). He's got the agility and skills to outclass Dick Grayson (Robin in the Teen Titans show), and he could be old enough to call Robin "kid". Also, Grant is already associated with skull symbolism, which lines up well with Red X, and it would make sense for how he'd ever find out about the Red X suit to know to steal it (because his father, Slade, could've told him about it).
