Imo, the Symbiote makes it easier for Peter to "embrace" the anger. It's important to keep in mind that Symbiotes feed on things like adrenaline. So it encourages reckless behavior by their very nature. It honestly becomes a bit of a Hulk type situation. The more angry that Peter gets, the more power the Symbiote has. Rinse repeat; the feedback loop continues forever.

To do with the discussion of 'if Venom is influencing Peter or if Peter is influencing Venom" I think its Peter's anger thats influencing Venom. I think that Peter seeing the shit he just beared witness to truly angered him, but Venom simply cant tell who is influencing who. Venom might just be a passenger to the holy hellfire that Peter is gonna unleash. But, especially since Venom is as self-aware as he is of his tendencies and his flaws, he might have to be the one that actually calms Peter down.

It's clearly not perfect symbiosis because Peter is more in control than Venom so like you said Peter is influencing the Venom symbiote. They have to work together as one and keep their emotions in control by supporting each other. Venom is afraid that he may heighten Peter's anger or be influenced by the negative emotions Peter is having.

I think there's more to it. Who's influencing who? At this point, they might simply both be pissed off right now, as both have their own good reason to be. Not in the sense that they necessarily achieved perfect synchronicity, but at least to the extent where they are at the frontier together.

Removing a zombiotes head should have no effect. We saw that with Carnage running around with the skeleton of Kletus for ages. At worst a symbiote would slowly starve due to there being no Phenethylamine, which is normally produced by the brain, and would be forced to seek a new host.

Peter will always be the best Host. Especially when him and Venom are Bonded. It's interesting how Venom is so confused trying to figure out what is best. I am kinda confused with the timeline of this Venom War event - some stories seems to take place before main story in Venom War, e.g. Carnage in his own tie in comics or Spider-man getting to the arena during his tie-in. Toxin’s the son of Carnage, also Lee Price’s body was picked up by Merdius after Venom bonded with his corpse to fight a Vampire Parasite (forgot its name) and he used that corpse to create a stronger version of the K-45 drug. Also the whole Venom War is because both Eddie and Dylan both believe the other will end up destroying the world or the universe if either of them get the Symbiote because the Eventuality told them their fates if either of them do bond with Venom. Also Carnage “killed” Meridus in the Garden and destroyed his Garden, which kicked off this entire event.

Now I'm wondering what will happen over the years if venom was bonded to Peter more so than Eddie's relationship with it. I know one thing for sure I think Venom will understand Peter more if Venom stays bonded to Peter an also maybe we get more of why Peter does what he does as spider-man. Maybe also his powers will get enhanced and we can get more of Peter's arachnid abilities coming out and mixing with Venoms abilities. What would be cool is Peter dawning some reds and greens to his design somehow so he can have more of "The Feel like Spawn" but he is not spawn i want more of..... "Spider-spawn" The Arachnid Hero of the Underworld. I think that sounds amazing actually.
