StarKiller 5iveOh falcon is trained in flight and military tactics. The military doesn't train hand to hand combat like batman has trained. Batman also wouldn't be able to catch the shield without protective gear because they are both human. Sam and Batman exist on two different levels. The real Cap wouldn't even win 9/10 with batman. I'd say maybe 6/10 in favor of Cap. Batman mastered every fighting style in existence; Sam just enlisted and was given a training anybody in his program could have got. Batman also has some other skills Sam doesn't like detective stuff and psychology. In short, batman is a way higher class than Sam in any variation.

That's awesome! Coming from a non biased white guy, I don't really care about race. Which is probably easy to say being white. Then again, it's actually slowly becoming pretty difficult to be a white male with all the hate and stigma. It's crazy all the hate that the color of our skin has brought from all sides (but especially white men). It's not even something we can control. With all that said, I REALLY like the actor and it doesn't in any way feel forced. It's not like some situations where they are intentionally race changing a character or trying to force race or LGBT on us. The man earned the shit out of that title on and off screen. Really glad he is caps successor. Can't wait for his show on Disney+

But some people just take it too far with race issues from paper to film casting... When they first pass the shield to Sam so much hate and years later everyone loves it because of end game. Now in the comics war machine dies and the armor gets passed off to the punisher and so much love and positive comments... Too me I don't care because it's a comics and I am a DC and Marvel fan and I was a big fanboy when I was younger and im chill with the changes shit it bought me back to the comics

I honestly thought they were going to do that. When he was aged and depowered, I thought he was going to lead Shield and Sam was going to get an honest shot at being Captain America. But with Steve getting it all back, it waters down Sam's character. It made sense for Dick Grayson to relinquish the Batman role once Bruce returned. Bruce never wanted his Robins to become the troubled person he is. Nightwing was and is Dick's true role. Sam Wilson though, from inception, has been in training to become Captain America at some point.

This is why I love Cap books. Steve, Buckey, and now Sam knows the big picture of life. I can see that Cap films like Winter Soldier and Civil War. I disagree with your opinion about the Crossbones defeat. During Heroes Reborn, Cap gave Falcon a blood transfusion to save his life. The transfusion gave Falcon better agility, speed and made him stronger. Sure this was in an alternate reality (even though it was still the same Falcon) and it was way back in '97 but I've seen Falcon exibit super strength in the same series where he fought Crossbones by breaking out of chain restraints unaided. I think Falcon still has some degree of Cap's serum from that transfusion all those years ago.

Hearing it explained in its entirety. Sam Wilson's Captain America makes sense. He would be the logical choice in replacing Steve Rodgers not just from the perspective as a side kick but as a friend, some one that base grounded him to the modern age. It a shame that a good character is getting bad press being lumped in with all the questionable turns that Marvel has been taking. I think Marvel has done to much to soon , and people have to be some times slowly and gently guided into New things.

I've been advocating a change of guard for a while. my favorite example is Hawkeye. one of my top characters (even pre mcu) but I love home in the fraction run where he was just a mentor for kate. it gives him more gravitas while creating new and dope Hawkeye stories. there are alot of characters that could get the same treatment. plus it gives a star wars level depth. certain characters could go through multiple mentees. black widow running a good girl version of the red room?! come on now lol

Im going to eat my words on this one. On one of your older avengers videos I said Sam Wilson as cap would be a bad idea. I was absolutely wrong! The first five issues of Sam Wilson are far more relateable and vivid than that of Steve Rogers. I like Sam better now than I did Steve before he was a hydra sleeper.

D-man is the protector of low-town. that's where the homeless live in the marvel universe and he and the armadillo have in common was they were both in the UWF (Unlimited Wrestling Federation) That was a storyline that was in marvel two in one with the thing, Also its why D-mans costume is a blend of Wolverine and Daredevils first costume, they both got their powers at a huge cost. D-man was addicted to a drug they would slow hand out if he did what they wanted and Armadillos costume was bonded to him and he couldn't remove it

D-Man is a great character, but writers haven't really done him justice. He originally showed up in the Thing's 1980s run when Ben was a part of the Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation as Demolition Dunphy (that's where the Demolition Man thing came from). As for the old costume, story-wise, he had asked a costume designer friend to come up with something inspired by 2 of his favorite heroes, Daredevil and Wolverine. It's a shame how poorly writers have used him over the years. It's nice to see him getting more of a fair shake.
