Mom and dad will have been together 50 years in a week. I'm so thankful for that kind of an example of steadfast love.

I cannot belive that this is the first time I have heard "If you know what you're doing..." quote before. I got married after less than a year of dating my now wife of 13 years, and have never been able to articulate this exact idea so succinctly.

“It was all very friendly, business like” 😅😅😅 This reminds me a lot of our own story. My husband courted me back in 2020 and marry me when I became 18yo. No regrets, it has been amazing!

Having parents of similar vintage to the Wilsons, I can vouch for the distinct lack of sartorial discernment in evidence in the 1970s- it's not called the "hangover decade" for nothing.

I’m not sure what the phrase “if you know what you’re doing, do it. if you don’t know what you’re doing don’t do it”, means. Can someone please explain? It seems insightful but I’m not sure what he is saying with that. It may just be a joke and it went over my head.

Tell us what kind of wedding you had, Pastor. I can assume it was in a church, before God, but was its opulence driven by Nancy’s typical bride’s idealism?

You met her 50 years ago, that's how... Men cannot find women that want us these days.
@Yesica199311 күн бұрын
It goes both ways. Women can't find men like this either. So stop blaming it all on the women.

@@Yesica1993 Did you read my comment?
@HartyBiker11 күн бұрын
That depends on where you're looking at what you're doing with your life. If you're just coasting, and looking for a wife in bars and social groups, don't be surprised if they aren't interested in you. I didn't meet my fiancée until I got really invested in my local church and then there she was. Find your mission. She doesn't want to be your mission, she wants to help you on your mission.
@raymond_sycamore11 күн бұрын
@@HartyBiker my brother in Christ, my comment was descriptive and not intended to illicit any kind of life advice. I am fully aware I will likely never date again. I am simply stating a fact, women no longer need or want men.
