Kris, I very highly recommend getting what's known as a "soft cone" for Kevin as he heals. They're so much better than the plastic "cones of shame" for so many reasons. (I'm an Animal Behaviorist and Trainer.) Plus, once you purchase it you'll have it for life (in the event he ever needs one again - I hope not). The vets charge a ridiculous amount for the plastic ones. I've used the brand "Comfy Cones" and can vouch for that one but they're all pretty much the same except some are more cushioned than others. You'll just need to measure his neck for size and then you'll know which one is perfect for Kevin. I hope this helps! 🥰🐶💖
