I really appreciate your videos. I am a retired banker (37 years) and now work part-time at a local farm equipment dealer as pick- up and delivery. I started with ‘Ask Tractor Mike’ then ‘GP Outdoors’ and recently found your site. Very good job and I also appreciate the scriptures that you finish with. Thank you.

Having a wrecking bar/pry bar easily accessible can be a great work and time saver. I’ve kept a 4ft one attached to my tractors frame rails for handiness for years, works great lining implements up and especially well for unclogging an 8ft snowblower. A very overlooked and under utilized tool.

One more much appreciated gift: For any tractor lover who uses a post hole auger, my recommendation for a great gift is a LARGE (3-to-4') pipe wrench. If your auger gets stuck under a rock or root and won't come out, alas, PTO shafts don't have a reverse. Just remove the shear bolt and you can use the giant pipe wrench to reverse the auger right back up and out of the ground. I'm usually pretty good about not letting my auger get stuck, but when it does, the giant pipe wrench makes quick work of resolving the problem.

How do you get the 55 gal drum refilled? Do they bring a new barrel and pick up the empty, or does a fuel delivery truck re-fill the existing barrel? Would you recommend a 275 gal tank even if you only fill it 50 or 60 gal at a time. I've heard some fuel companies won't refill a 55 gal drum. Thanks for the info. ??No cat in this video??

Hey Tim, I'm wondering if you could share the part number of the hook you used on the Cargobuckle. I ordered a Curt 81940 hook but the "wings" on the pin side are not long enough so I cant get the pin to go through. It looks like the one you found is just long enough to get the pin to go through. I don't want to grind on the Cargobuckle or hook since that will definitely weaken them at that connection point. It's not a dimension they publish so hoping you could list the hook you used.....add it to your amazon site if you can get it through there. Love your videos ....even though I'm an orange tractor guy :)

Hello to the TTWT family from Nova Scotia, Canada. I started watching your videos while I was researching Compact Tractors and have found myself hooked on them. So much so that I subscribed to your channel today. Which is the one and only KZbin channel I've ever subscribed to. Also , my finance committee and I have decided to get our own little Johnny in the spring. I love the videos not only for the machinery but for the great way you guys present yourselves and the simple way you explain things, especially to a novice like me. I've learned a lot from you guys and can't wait to put it to use.I do have a couple of questions though. First, do you think this TTWT experience has gotten bigger than you ever could have imagined ? And second, I was wondering who you think would play you in the TTWT movie ? HaHa. Stay happy and stay well.
@TractorTimewithTim6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the awesome comment. We really appreciate the kind words. To your questions: 1) do you think this TTWT experience has gotten bigger than you ever could have imagined ? Who would think that folks would watch videos about a tractor? Even moreso, who would think that folks would watch videos with me in them??? We had no idea. If you haven't read the info on our website, I would encourage you to see how we started. ...totally by accident! 2) Who would play Tim in a TTWT movie? I doubt there would be a long line of actors lining up for that role, so they would probably just grab some dude off the street! ...are you kidding me, TTWT movie!?!?! We have lots of videos...how many of them have you seen?

Jamie Curtis I have worked with and around tractors and heavy farm equipment my entire life. Luckily we don't get cold enough, so for fuel to gel is foreign to me. Thanks for the input. Seems like an additive would cause issues with the mechanical system, or if it helps keep it cleaner I may shou if start using it.
@TractorTimewithTim6 жыл бұрын
Yes, the additives can help. I usually fill up my fuel barrel early in winter to get ‘winter fuel’ from the vendor. I also use stanadyne fuel treatment.
