you cannot personalize the car (for example adding any of the 3 packages to the Core trim or requesting an exterior color). much like everything else from Toyota, it’s whatever the factory sends the dealer. the dealer cannot install or request the performance package afterwards for an install.

Correct. But you can sign up for one with the performance package and hope it comes in that way. Nobody is really sure how the rollout is going to go to be honest with you

Rims cost $3500!!! Sells those on Craigslist and get nice looking ones and offset the markup. The 9"feet of structural adhesive is on the carbon roof. The welded on over time will be stronger and stiffer. My 1997 MTB carbon on alloy frame adhesive finally detached last month!!! 25 years from now do you want your roof to detach and leak ???? Eat healthy and lose weight and you will save the same as a carbon roof. The heat package would be cool here in Minnesota but this in not your grandma's LEXUS 😉 Also when is the last time you heard a great sound system in a car unless it was aftermarket? Also when does the in car navigation beat your Iphone's Google Maps? (it tracks everything)

Glossed over the fact that the circuit edition doesn't have a center armrest. I get it that the Morizo doesn't have it, but the circuit edition should for 43k. How much weight saving in an armrest? That will be one of the biggest complaints

I thought none of them have a center arm rest. I don't see one in the Core here. That and the gloss black door handles, center console and trim and when you see the iMT button it's the really cheap plastics under the dash. I also realize these are still pre production and have been abused by the journalists but the floor carpets look kinda cheap as well with the fuzzy less tight stands vs the higher thread counts and less fuzz of higher end cars. I get the purpose and the pricing is competitive but the interior of all it's competitors look and likely feel nicer and still age better than this.

Gonna let everyone get the First flock and get that Circuit in 2024. Im sure it wont be the Circuit but whatever model they make with LSDs and that nice hood with vents. I would get the core with LSDs but i love the Circuit body style to much

I don't care what all the Honda Fan boys say about the overrated Type-R. I'd take this over the Type-R all day long. And I'm coming from a European car background, not as a Toyota guy, just for reference sake. This is far better-looking and aggressive - without looking all "Los-Angeles-Boy-Racer." like the Type-R. The GR will be more tossable and playful due to the shorter wheel base, not to mention more sure-footed due to the AWD system. But overall, this car just has much more character and personality than the Type-R. And even beyond all of THAT, There have been many that have encountered crunching gears in the Type-R ( source: savagegeese KZbin channel ) which is 100% unforgiveable given Honda's legacy of quality control and engineering excellence.

Track focused trims always have higher prices so it’s not surprising. The middle trim and base trim are the ones most people will be getting anyway. It’s right in there with the Type R and Golf R.
