Comparing Generals: Is Teach the Best Siege General?

Reviews the stats of the latest Siege General in the Evony lineup - Edward Teach, and compares him to other siege generals.

1 - Download and Install Aptoide app from the website

3 - Install Appcoins Wallet app from your device's app store. This will be used to manage your purchases.

4 - Open your AppCoins Wallet app, go to Settings and click "Redeem Code". You will be redirected to the myappcoins.com page, where you will insert the promo code (REDEVONY) right after your wallet address to get your bonus discount.
5 - Go into the Evony game app, load up your account using Facebook or Google (whichever method you used to link your account). You can play the game as normal through this app downloaded from Aptoide.
6 - When in-game, select the package you wish to purchase, as usual. This should open the AppCoins wallet as your payment method with all the other usual payment methods.
When you purchase, you'll get AppCoin credits as a purchase bonus that you will be able to use. Once you stock up enough AppCoin credits, you can use the credits to pay for your purchases.

Teach is also defensive were zucca and others are attack oriented. He can take all books and pairs with petronas.

@@RedEvony What would you recommend for the best assistant if you use teach as main reinforcement . I find only Septimus but then no attack skill book.

great vid as always. For the rally setting member of your team. They should be looking for a combo of lead general with rally size in the red star list. The assistant should have some rally capacity in there gold book and/or specialties. For those joining the rally. They want march size to make sure you fill in all the available space. The lead general should have march size in there red star list. The assistant should have march size in there gold book and/or specialties. Note...march size combo is good for smaller team that have problems filling in a rally. If you do not have any issues filling in the rally capacity go for power combo. Teach is a power combo lead or assistant. For F2P check if he combo with top tavern siege or freemium Petronas.

I made the switch having Teach primary paired with Zucca as assistant. I have attack, range bonus and HP books on teach and defense, March size, and March speed on zucca. With my stats and a 200% March buff that’s a bit over 3.5m troops

The problem with this is that you will not be able to take advantage of Zuccas MS buffs, because ascension doesn't work with assistants. Switch them for Zucca as lead and you will get the max out of march size. (20% vs. 6%) You do lose 36% HP this way but gain10% Def, however the march size benefit offsets this greatly for attacking

I use Petronas as my main and Teach can take the siege attack book and works as an assistant to Petronas.

Aka, I have Zucca leading and Teach (spiritual beast) as an assistant, they are compatible and these are the books. Zucca (siege machine defense, march size, march speed) and Teach (Siege Attack, Siege Range Bonus and Siege HP), this combination turned out much better than Zucca and Septimus or Zucca and Ramesses II. hope this helps!

Great video as always 💪 but why was Mason weaver not considered? Surely she's the most comparable with teach because she can be used for defence / reinforcing too? And both can pair with attacking generals (zucca /Petronas or... Eleanor who can fix the march size issue 😉 😂 )

Amazing info. But I would like to ask sometihng bonus, I am a too small player to be thinking about siege march, and I saved up quite some tokens. DO you think it is worht using them now or wait for another gen release? Btw, I have 0 siege gens so far :)

Unless you are very lucky, you need about 70+ general boxes in order to collect all 16 of the same general to fully awaken. There are always new gens coming out so it wouldn't hurt to wait imo

Thanks 😊🙏 Depending on the kind of tokens you have, and the amount, I think it would be worth it to try to get a copy of Teach to use as either a main siege general or an assistant. But I would only advise you to get one copy. From the sounds of things, you are still far away from needing a siege general so whatever general you get will simply be idle in your keep. Once you get a copy, save the rest of your tokens until a general you really want comes along 😉👌 In the meantime, there are other options for siege generals and you will have more opportunities to get them. So even if you miss out on this one, it’s not the end of the world 😄

zucca pairs with teach and you get the best of both worlds, and will take skillbook. also teach/septimus pair is a great rein pair and doubles as 2nd atk seige.

If they are compatible, yes. In that case, you’d be able to get 6% March size from Zucca’s specialties 👌

Wish you would have included Churchill. According to my stat sheet he runs almost identical to Petronas except he has 20% rally cap. He also runs really close to Zucca in other categories (-1 att, -10 def, +3 hp) but again has a 20% advantage in Rally capacity and only 4% less on march size. Also just so people know Assistants ascendancy doesn't count (as of now) so for any of these 4 top siege gens Teach will be best as assistant because Zucca/Church/Petronas/Septimus ascendancy is better to maximize all stats when combined with Teach The problem with that is getting 15(!) of ANY of them will be a complete ball aching money pit, so Matthias could still useful as main.
