I’m carnivore. I had three eggs with a slab of cheddar yesterday at 8 pm. It was a weird day. Right now, it’s almost 4 pm next day and I realize that I’m just now starting to think about dinner - and I realize I haven’t eaten all day. 😳 Carnivore is incredibly satisfying to me. Sugar and snack addictions totally gone.

I have naturally only eaten a small amount of meat. I decided to try this yesterday and ate a big-ish steak and braised cabbage for lunch. Wow! I could not believe how satiated and disinterested in food I was for the rest of the day, and even the next morning, so didn't need to start eating until later. I am a big snacker so it was a win-win for me to not consume any junk food. I am continuing this to see how long the feeling lasts.

What each of us has is the experiment within our own body. Not some influencer that has been doing a diet in their 20’s and “feels great’ after two weeks. If your body is not functioning optionally, if modern disease is appearing, if you have low energy, if you are not mentally sharp, you are eating the wrong foods. Again, this is a years long result not two weeks, nor some confusing array of misinterpreted studies paid for by food industry and government. I’ve followed the conventional dietary advice and over the years my health has declined. With neurological muscle problems, I have been stunned to find how much eating ruminant meat and eggs has lessened my need for medication. Meat doesn’t just build bone and muscle, in combination with animal fats it is the backbone of the structure of our nervous system. I take a medication that scares most doctors and need a significant amount to just be able to walk and breathe. Every time I try carnivore I can take less of this medication. I’m at the point where I’m going 100% carnivore for life as I’m done experimenting on myself and finding every other way of eating worsens my condition.

In my opinion fiber is during a lot of harm to a lot of people and they are not even aware of it. I have watched my body close for the last 50 years and know what works and what don't work. Carnivore does work and it make sense as to why it works. I am 87 years old and just finished 52 minutes of strength training today. I can say this, breathing is not living but just staying alive. Veganism is generally defined as living in a way that avoids consuming, using, or exploiting animals as much as realistically possible. While this leaves room for individual preferences & barriers, the overall intent is that minimal harm is done to animals through life choices. My friends don’t care what they eat as long as there’s no animals involved. Oreos & margaritas are vegan! 😂

And hungry after about 30mins to an hour after eating. Started eating meat again after joining a gym a year and a half ago. I’m more satisfied with my meals. Less snacking and bloating. And I also recall, and it popped into my head recently while researching carnivore, I would poop out the greens. I ate a lot of greens to keep my calories low. But My body wasn’t using any of it. So what was the point of eating it? It’s got me thinking a lot.

Can anyone name even one member of plantae that can even remotely come close to the nutrients necessary for animalia that is available by one measly egg? Think about it. The egg is a self-contained life support system containing all the minerals and nutrients necessary to create a fully functioning, live chicken in all it's complexity and biological systems of flesh and blood. Plantae are a completely different Kingdom of living organisms, completely unlike animalia. The egg is one example of an animal sourced superfood. No plant or combination of plants is a suitable replacement for the "Proper Human Diet" which is animal products. This is why 84% of vegans abandon this food paradigm within five years.

@anthonychaffeemd

Humans have only been eating plants in any quantity for at most 10,000 years, and that's only in certain areas. Up until the 20th century the Plains Indians are nearly exclusively wild bison, were the tallest population on Earth, and extremely healthy. Now, they are not. Same goes for the Australian aboriginals. For millions of years we've been eating meat. Since the pre human era, our ancestors have been eating meat. A balanced diet is one that has a perfect balance of all essential nutrients, in the proportion you need them. That's meat. A fatty steak is a perfectly balanced diet. The only balance you get from adding in plants is a balance of health meat and poison from plants.
@JamesJones-gj1ii

@@anthonychaffeemd only 10,000 years ? That’s a long time , definitely long enough to evolve eating plants and animals. And I agree they might have been primarily meat eating as they followed the herds but they definitely ate fruit and vegetables while they were in season along the way. That follows nature and normal human behavior. It’s balanced. Yes there are some pockets of people who eat even less fruits and veggies but the opposite is true as well. The point is this binary level of thinking is wrong. Additionally meat is only as good as the stuff they eat. So again if we are promoting what is healthy we need to consider what they are eating.

Question ! Our ancestors ate wild meat. Today we are eating domestic meat. Some antibiotics & hormones etc. The vet told me that is why my dog is overweight. I am feeding him beef, pork, chicken, cheese. Now I have him of the kibble with vits & minerals again. I am ?? Any suggestions would be helpful. 1 month ago I started the carnivore diet. I slip on and off. Pretty much off the sugar. The craving for sweets is getting less and less. My ancestors were aboriginal.

I have difficulty with digestion if I do strict carnivore for a long period of time. I don't know why. My heart seems to flutter a bit and I feel tired, gassy.. I seem to do best with carnivore during the main part of the day, with some carbs at night, including whole milk. At some point I will try pushing further with carnivore and get through my issues, but for now this works really well for me. Getting off sugar was a huge shift in itself!

To be publishable it would have to follow certain research protocols. That's why Dave Feldman has to work with Ph.D. Biochemists and doctors to have credibility. Work is being done, but without the financial backing of food industry companies, which want to promote sugar and starch products, or government (and quasi-government) agencies it's a hard road.

As a long-term vegan I am all for letting natural selection do its thing: Encourage everybody with no sense of ethics, no sense of how the production of meat is detrimental to our environment and no sense of the very negative long-term health consequences of an animal-based diet to EAT MORE MEAT! Enjoy the ride, cause meat/cheese/eggs/chicken/fish/goats/etc. taste great! Find these pro-carnivore sites funny and would like to see more clinical studies, not just the empty but admittedly hilarious talk and product promotions presented here.

Congrats on taking a powerful step! Massive respect. I believe Dr. Ken Berry did mention a multiple cases who reversed Type 2 diabetes with carnivore, maybe dig into his work to see if there are details as to how long it took. Myself, 10 days into fully-carnivore (transitioned from animal-based, did that for months). My advice is don’t focus too much on “how long until I can eat other stuff….” Focus on thriving, vibrancy, and who you aspire to be in 10 and 20 years, and even 1 year from now. Imagine what is possible. Then eat the food/uphold the lifestyle that fuels and supports that vision into reality.

@@ODMA2112I have seen many, many comments by people on carnivore channels saying that they reversed (cured) their T2D by eating a carnivore diet. I second what @ODMA said, including about watching Dr. Ken Berry’s videos about carnivore. Another I recommend is SemiRetiredBob. He’s been on the carnivore diet 22 months now, and has cured T2D, heart problems, joint problems, high blood pressure, and other things. I’ve been eating 95% carnivore for 11 months, and have resolved a number of problems. Going for a physical in a couple weeks. You will find, if you eat the carnivore diet for a while, that you feel good. If you stray from it, you’ll feel worse again. Your tastes will change, too. I used to be addicted to sugar. Now it repulses me; holds zero appeal. I wish you luck and good health! 🙏

This prophecy for the last days hit the nail ... (1Ti 4:1) Now the Spirit (God) speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (1Ti 4:2) Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; (1Ti 4:3) Forbidding to marry (*priests), and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. (1Ti 4:4) For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: (*priests, in a Christian church there are no priests. Catholic church (NWO of Rome) has nothing to do with Christianity nor the Bible but thats another topic) Most of the apostles of Jesus were fishermen and God calls anyone rich who has cattle (meat, milk, cheese and clothing) and silver and gold (real value unlike our paper money).

That can happen at the beginning. Once food passes your lips, it’s all about chemical reactions in your body. Your body knows it’s receiving nutrients now. That hunger will settle down. Also it’s good to get to the point where you don’t need to eat all day, you will find time for all the stuff you were too busy for before. Two weeks is nothing, see how your hunger is after two months or possibly more. This is a way of life, not a quick diet for weight loss.

Would it be possible Anthony, to have a print out of a history of diet guidelines with citations to appropriate studies debunking the food pyramid SAD diet with links to scientific studies that support a high fat high protein diet - for the purpose of patients being able to present it to their health practitioners, to then be able to say to them - you produce your evidence to support the guidance you are giving me. Like a timeline, presented in a very simple way? I would be happy to pay a fee for an online or printable summary of your evidence and fact-based rationale for people so that it can be given to family or professionals, to be when they protest and bully carnivores. Or simply when they have questions. I get though that it's very confrontational. There is such big money in "solving" disease. Carnivore is such a simple solution that it radically disrupts multiple industries. From agriculture to food processing, the whole medical profession, insurance providers, etc etc as well as research grants, universities etc. A simple pamphlet, ebook? That people can be armed with to share with friends, family, doubters of all kinds including professionals would help a lot to support individuals making a choice that people are conditioned to find very threatening. It would help deal with the pushback

Correct, fiber does slow absorption which will reduce a sugar spike. However the total insulin secreted over time actually remains the same. The other issue is that fiber slows or prevents absorption of vitamins and minerals. I think it's not a coincidence that when people listen to their bodies, they resist more than 20 to 30 grams of fiber a day. More than that will result in gi problems and nutrition deficiencies.
