I find the v2 aluula 3.5 is super nervous in gusty 25-30kt. Flaps all around, it’s a bit annoying. Would probably prefer an slick sls 3.0, but haven’t tried one

Hi Tucker, thanks for the helpful comparison. I have seen marketing material about the v3 stating that it is more powerful so you can go down a size. Have you tried the same size v2 vs v3 side by side and do you agree with that statement?

I'd say to step down a half meter versus most other wings but I find it has a similar wind range as the v2. More "punchy" power but not necessarily going to change your wind range. -Tucker

Hi Tucker, great video. I have a full quiver of Strike V2s--looking to transition to the Unit. How's the wind range? Pumping characteristic? Behaviour in gusts?

The Unit is a bit stiffer so it's a bit punchier than the Slick but very similar in the grunt/lift they produce. You'll feel that most in the gusts. I like the hard handles better since you can move your hand to different positions without death gripping the loop. -Tucker
