I use the GoPro Hero 9 underground. I also own the Dji Pocket 2 which is the superior camera but I have always been to scared to use it in a mine because the gimble seems so delicate, and of course there is the dust and mud, etc. I also prefer the still photographs from the Pocket 2. Judging by this video here is a massive difference and I may experiment with the pocket 2 next year. Merry Christmas. 🎄🎅

I going to see if there is a silicon cover for it or anything... I know they do the water case which will protect it 100%. But zero audio hahaha.... Have a good Christmas my friend. 🎄🤶👍👍👍

I am using the GoPro Hero 12, and I must admit the low light capabilities are not very good, and I have to use two Fenix flood lights to light up the tunnels. I have been looking at the Insta 360 which as way better low light capabilty, but lacks a gimble (GoPro 12 is stabilished in camera so does not need a gimble), but I am impressed with this DJI Pete, especially with 4k 30FPS, and the difference in low light is amazing, have to make a tuff choice now, been using GoPros for about 10 years.

@@VikingExploration60 yeah I've always used gopro cameras. I will still use the 9 as it was kindly given to me by UK Abandoned Mine Explores. But the dji will be for dry mines to save the gimble hahaha. I've been advised against the pocket 3 as it is twice the size... The battery last 1.5 hours at 4k, but you buy a stick for the bottom giving an extra 4 hours of battery life on top of the original.. The stick was 50 pound and secures the gimble in place like a selfie stick

Pocket 3 was larger in size and double the price of the 2 hahaha. 😂👍👍

The pocket 3 has a serious fault. The internal mechanism holding and locking the swivel screen has a habit of breaking. I don't know if the fault has been rectified at the factory yet.

@@MineExplorerUK Thats true, the price is hefti but the lowlightquality is better for the newer model. I'm still undecided.

@@inthearea63 They fixed this problem, it apears only at the first batch. If you bought it the last 6 month, you have the newer one.
