Russian coaches are not technically banned if they are with skaters from other countries. U had the same situation at Worlds last year, where team tutberidze was there with Daniel and the other skater from Georgia. And as for Japan Open, every team needs to have one retired skater (Morisi, Mariah, Satoko) & they can perform easier programs when it comes to technical elements. Everyone has to present FS though. U can also hear about it in Adam’s and Ashley’s podcast where they discuss the idea of a retired skater performing.

isabeau's jumping technique makes me so sad, it's so forced and she really struggles to get the jumps into the air. it is so similar to eteri girls' technique especially close to the ends of their careers and i wish isabeau and her coaches would fix that before it's too late 💔

Her technique are even worse than the eteri girls witch i though it was impossible. If you watch Isabeau closely you can see she loose all of her speed almost stop on the ice before she pick with her toe and the way she bend over with her back i would not be surprise if she has back injury. I'm scared for her health 😢. Sorry english is not my first language

By the way Kimmy Repond is a popular skater in European countries right now, she has a lot more instagram followers than the “fan favorite” Loena Hendrickx. Last season, people found Kimmy adorable because of her genuine happiness when she got bronze medal at the European Championship (and honestly, she should have got the silver medal with her 2 clean performances, Loena was overscored despite her mistakes). She also did pretty well at the Junior Worlds, she was only behind the Japanese and Korean skaters and she was the most successful European junior. She has a bright future ahead of her ♥️

I’ve been SO pleasantly surprised by Ilia’s progress this season. I worried he’d go the Trusova route. Thankfully - unlike the Russian Rocket - he seems willing to adapt, grow, and learn from feedback. To me it demonstrates this kid REALLY wants gold…ALL the gold. Artistically, he has plenty of room for improvement, and I would love to see him drill down into his skating skills, but I’m encouraged by his current direction 👍🏼

Yeah! New Paola video! And the audio is fixed. 😊 I am slowly coming around on Kaori's free program. She has made some improvements since the Autumn Classic. Her costume reminds me of the colour gradient from her "Piano" costume from the 2018-19 season and Audrey Hepburn's dress from the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's". The Grand Prix Series starts on Friday with Skate America! 🙂

Тут больше про то, что Тутберидзе как правило не тратит время на сопровождение своих неудачливых студентов. Плюс Japan Open - это даже не соревнование. Poala, why don’t you do some research before you even comment on skating from now on it seems as though you’re lazy with these videos, why make them at all? You’re doing nothing more than pissing off REAL skating fans who are watching more than just the ‘major’ competitions which most of the time really are just an average competition. The ones who are following the athletes progress on social media posts and aren’t just guessing who the next star is but acctually appreciate the sport and assume when we click on a video like this we will hear entertaining but also legitimate critisism that isn’t based on assumptions or in this case lack of knowledge.
