Wasatch Lifetime Canoe 13' 90561

In this video, we show you the features and demo of the Wasatch 13 Plastic Kayak by Lifetime Products, Inc. The canoe is fantastic, but there are a few things to keep in mind, like, no paddles included.
I will show you the motor I bought that mounts to the existing motor mount bracket along with my top three pros and cons.
Top three pros: has a motor mount to zip around the water, is very lightweight for a canoe, includes removable backrests that are actually quite comfortable.
Top three cons: no paddles, no paddle clips, and paddling speed.
Overall, it's awesome. My wife and 2-year-old are on the kayak with me during the demo - it's very stable. I show the motor so you can get an idea of just how fast it is.

I also have this canoe and learned some things I didn’t even know about it! Thanks for all the recommendations. Yeah, on the topic of getting it registered/titled for using the motor-I was also very excited about the mountable transom troller, but was quickly discouraged once I realized I had to get my canoe titled and registered (Pacific Northwest, OR) to use it. Definitely do your research before jumping out on the water with gear you want to bring.

I just bought a canoe and plan to put stablelizers on the sides to keep it from tipping over. In addition ill be putting ep foam board on the inside to make it unsinkable. My 16' canoe is on the roof of my 14' jeep and yes i forgot to watch where I was going a couple of times and walked right into the the back of the canoe knocking me down.

How do you recharge your battery after using it? Does the minn Kota power center have a plug to the wall to recharge?

It doesn’t have a plug. I use a battery charger but put the connectors onto the minn kota terminals. You don’t have to remove the battery from that case.

Right, like the guy above said, you would plug in a battery tender to the box and let it charge. It’s just an RV battery you buy at Walmart.

Yes. It's the other person in the canoe that worries me when they standing too. :)

The batteries are marine batteries. Duralast, 1,000 cranking Amps, Reserve Capacity 182, Marine Starting

I just keep the battery in a case on the floor of the canoe.
