If a male tried to compete against me, I would not only be deeply offended, but I would boycott at all costs. Well, there is Patricio Manuel but I can't say I know of any others and his career is quite early as far as boxing goes. Every once in awhile, you'll come across a woman you just don't want to mess with. I met one like that on a construction site I worked with. She was probably one of the strongest people I have ever known. Man, she was burly. As rare as those women are, I could see them competing in men's sports, especially combat related sports. That being said I don't think those rare instances justify trans women being in women's sports.

When my daughter was a teenager, she came home crying because she tried to break up with her boyfriend and he was threatening to kill himself if she left him. I told her what I want to tell Fransesca, she is not responsible for his life, if he wants to harm himself, he needs help but it's not her responsibility. The bigger picture is that trans discussion in women's sports lead to incredible amounts of bullying, which sadly leads to suicide much too often. Francesca is, in her own view, fighting for what she thinks is a much bigger concern than sports. I personally also believe that no one is responsible for someone's suicide, even bullies, but the statistics are way too clear on the issue. When a trans teenager sees Francesca defending her unconditionally, it might flip just the switch over. Things like this can make the difference.

Well, the thing is there is normally a third category for all. But trans women, despite that, compete with women, and moreover, trans men also compete in the women’s category. So in one case it’s about biology and then, when it suits them, it’s about identity. It would be absolutely wonderful to have women’s, men’s, and transgender’s leagues of sports. When that lady on the left said “you think they’re doing it to win medals” well that’s a loaded question lady and she did that on purpose…they aren’t trans to win medals BUT when a man,halfway through college/HS who competed against men and lost, suddenly “identify” as trans and compete then YES it is for a medal. Transitioning is about being in a body that matches your image of you. You still know you were born differently and the “transitioning” didn’t make you into the opposite sex it is allowing you you to physically look like what you feel like and is done (or used to be done) after intense therapy as it is a big step and there is no WAY that they would be misgendered. If not told I would have never known Buck was born a woman or Blair was born a man and you can bet I would never refer to Buck as a she or Blair as a he…that is what being a trans was all about…it’s why they used the term “trans”. You cannot simply say “I’m trans bcuz i identify as a woman/man” and expect everyone has to accept that, if that were the case then hey “I identify as the most wealthy beautiful Ruler of the Universe and should be treated accordingly” 🤨 some how I don’t see that working 😅

However the suicide rate before transitioning is on average 3.5 times higher and suicide attempts 7.7 times higher for transgender individuals. Also, the risk of severe depression decrease by 60% after transition, all studies supports that these risks is significantly lower after transition. Another point to keep in mind that in society in general, transpeople are still subject to a lot of hate and ridicule, even after transition, no wonder they still have a higher risk of depression and suicide after transition. Same as for homosexuals a few decades ago. BTW, I fully support that transgender women should not be competing against CIS women in sports, that idea is absurd to me. But unless you have evidence to support this statement, let's just keep the discussion honest. But you are right in saying there is a mental component, in fact that is primarily all transgenderism is.
