At the end when Jaime said "Most people said we shoulda bulldozed this place, but I disagree" that was key. The ability to build something from the ground up and at the very end you step back and say 'this place looks like it's been here the whole time' is something special. The cut nails, reclaimed wood for porch roof, floating stairs, all stunning details. Love it 👊
@qgc34263 жыл бұрын
Some times it makes more $$$ sense to bulldoze and start from scratch. Other times $$$ be damned. Keep with the traditional and rebuild. I believe you always want to keep to traditional. Retain and reclaim.

@@galvanizedgnome At first I would agree if was a permanent residence. However, they are jumping on the Airbnb bandwagon. So the idea of this being a rebuild and it has history to showcase, I'm guessing, would attract more people to rent it. And judging by the dates booked, it is doing, or will be doing well. Especially at $260 per night.

@Perkins Builder Brothers I really appreciate you guys , I absolutely love and enjoy your videos and just retaining and learning from y’all. I’ve been maintaining and running my own small solo contracting business as sort of a reboot from my first one I lost when I was young and going through a divorce.. and I had been dealing with loss and a bunch of tragedy in my life as of late and my only “saving grace” if you want to call it that , has been my nightly routine of coming home and decompressing and binge watching you and your brother do amazing things.. I would give everything to spend even a day on a job site with you guys quite literally, and I would absolutely take full advantage of all the knowledge and experience from y’all and be a sponge. Thank you so much guys ! And great job ! My top 4 is always going to be Perkins builder brothers, stud pack, awesome framers and Kyle with RR buildings
