So much misinformation smh... I agree the 72 point game doesn't account to much, but Liangelo averaged 33.5 points during high school in one of the hardest divisions out there. He averages 15.7 points on 45% from 3 in Lithuania, which actually leads the LKL. He would have even a higer average, but he played on a minute restriction at first and went scoreless the first game. He scored 25 points against Zalgiris, which would dust any college team and scored 18 against Rytas which is the second best team from Lithuania. He also recorderd 28 points and 6 rebounds in his last game. If you want to talk about the player, atleast get your information right.

I simulated MyLeague on 2K with the Chicago Bulls and I ended up trading a bunch of players for picks and trading up, my results were: Luka Doncic + Michael Porter Jr. + Liangelo Ball , ended up winning the Finals the following year with those 3 guys as my secondary unit, I had Zach LaVine + Kris Dunn + Lauri Markkanen + Denzel Valentine + Robin Lopez and they killed it, the new 3 guys were playing like All-Stars too. They get so many buckets off assists with Luka Doncic and MP Jr get's buckets. Liangelo Ball plays decent and gets an average of 11 pts a game.

All these young dudes in the comments salty because they told the truth about this Ball SCAM. Liangelo isn't good enough for the league. In college I watched the 2014 Florida Gators win 32 games in a row and go undefeated in the SEC. They beat Willey Cauley Stein, Julius Randle, James Young and the Harrison twins (all with varying degrees of NBA play) 3 times that season and made it to the final four. Shabazz Napier had to go Super Saiyan to beat that team. Only one player from that roster is in the NBA right now and he was on the bench that year (Dorien Finney Smith). The rest of those dudes from the starting, Scottie Wilbekin, Michael Frazier, Casey Prather, Patric Young. None of them were drafted. Scottie played like 2 seconds in preseason, same as Michael Frazier. Both of them play in Europe. Casey Prather plays in Australia and Patric in Europe. All of those guys were by far better players than Liangelo. Especially Michael who could shoot out of a gym and Casey who had ups. None of them were considered league worthy. Liagelo won't be drafted and he won't have a minute of regular season play guaranteed.

This is my argument to ANYONE who doesn't think LiAngelo Ball is NBA Worthy: He scored 72 points against a youth team and everyone is talking shit and saying it doesn't matter because they were a youth team. Take any NBA player and put them against that youth team and you would EXPECT them to do what Gelo did. Ya'll keep doubting Lavar Ball. He told ya'll that the Lakers will draft him, and that's exactly what is going to happen. LiAngelo will be a 2nd round pick, or the Lakers will sign him to one of those 2-way contracts, in which he'll split time between the G-League and the NBA. And the reason why the Lakers will sign him, will be to ease some of the pressure off of Lonzo. With his brother around him, Gelo can help relax him or even help on some of his aspects to his game.

I'm a Lakers fan but didn't Lavar say that Lonzo would get us into the playoffs this year? We just got eliminated from playoff contention a week ago. Also, where are the Lakers gonna put him? KCP has the SG position locked and we plan on signing big-name free agents with our two max contracts

One of the reasons for their forward momentum . . . was Lonzo Ball. And if a Ball brother can keep them moving forward, they'll look at him. Once again, LiAngelo's skill set on the NBA level, is as a spot up shooter. If he proves OVER TIME that he can do 50% of what a guy like JJ Redick can do, he'll have a place in the NBA. As for Lavar, people aren't giving him credit for what he has done so far, and instead, focusing on his outlandish claims. Lavar talks a good game with unrealistic expectations. But if you actually take a close look at what he's done, people should be impressed.

Wave Chapelle I don't think you understand just how big of a difference 4 years is. LiAngelo is fully developed, 15 year olds haven't even finished puberty yet. At 19 you have a solid couple years of intensive conditioning and weight training. At 15 you are still doing light weights to prevent growth stunts. LiAngelo is a fully grown man - his bones are hardened, he's had several years of eating big meals, and his body is tough. LiAngelo is VERY Far Removed from the age group of the 15 year old kids.
