I’m so glad that you are having professionals come in to pour your slab! Suck up all the knowledge you can, and when it’s time to pour the slab for an addition, you can do it yourself, but the first time, for the main house, let the pros guide and teach you.

You never pour concrete on dirt, you should have at least 4” of compacted gravel between the dirt and the slab with a vapor barrier, also plumbing needs to be dug in and those ditches should also be filled with gravel
@BruceWitcpalek-ws1rhАй бұрын
You are so right, but as usual, Jason will not take any advice because he knows it all !!!!

So neat guys! I am really hoping that you guys put in an amazing bathroom! C'mon, after all this time living off grid & then camper life, no amount of trips to town or studio apartments or hotels will ever beat a quality bathroom right there!!! I am politicking for an awesome tub, one that can soak your whole self. I had a perfect opportunity to put one in here & I blew it. Sure hot tubs are nice, but not in the middle of winter. SO TO WRAP UP: please get you guys an awesome tub! You know, I can never figure why people separate the soaking tub & the shower, why waste the real estate ---I say combine a soaking tub & a shower. I have never had someone showering while I'm in the tub, makes no sense. -much love always ~Mary & fam

Search hemp building blocks utube. They make solid or insilated icf hemp forms. R35 strong as concrete, fire, mold, bug resistant. Each trailer builds 1000 sq ft. Sequesters 6 tons of co2. Its 25% less than 2x4 stick built. Use hemp wool attic floors and foam the roof. Do radiant infloor heat outdoor boiler runs shop house and bin. Logs work perfect just load off the pallet forks on the bucket.
@jonpetersen554Ай бұрын
My house is made of hemp. 1 foot thick walls. Very quiet and efficient. We didn't use the blocks, we mixed the hemp with crushed lime and built forms. Poured it in and packed it down.

Good job well done Jerermy !! So good of you ! Jason you need to watch some real cash crop farmers that put these grain bins up .. they hall Loads an loads an loads of dirt to get it jus right.. Larson farms jus added another one .. Sonne farms just built another one.. anyways .. one day when time is right and financial is right you need to trade that very light utility garden tractor that you over work, for a good used skid steer with bucket and grapple an then-get the rest 0f attachments as need be .. relax dude its all coming together .. Daniel Looks like she is handling this better then you .. 😁..
