I’m starting carnivore today. To prepare I cooked meat, eggs and used the drippings in the sealed bags of meat I cooked. I made pork crispy snacks and put butter in the bag to melt when I heat them up . I’m worried about this diet but I think I can stay on it because I never eat sugar, never eat any sweets, never eat veggies nor fruit . I crave beef. I love seared beef. I actually crave it. Then sometime I crave pork chops. I never crave sweets but I have wanted potatoes, Breads, these are keeping me from losing my last 20 lbs to goal. Ty for your help

It's not that it's no ok. Going carnivore is definitely about how you feel and how your body is impacted. So if you don't have joint paint, then don't worry about adding pepper. But if you are curious, try to go w/ out salt. I may go w/out pepper some time, but my newest experiment is to try and make a bernaise sauce to put on my only salted steak :)

I use olive oil and avocado oil as I have an allergy to pork. This obviously includes bacon, hense no baconaise for me. However, I do make my own mayo with avocado oil and my own salad dressing (when I eat salad), with olive oil. I also generally use ghee that I make myself, either in the oven or via stove top. I make my own bone broth and can it at least once a month or so, which adds so much to my diet, and is especially helpful when I am breaking a fast.

I am milk intolerant so I can’t use dairy. Now when reducing beef bone broth; when will I add the collagen protein powder. And which brand would use? I have had MS for about 30 years but not diagnosed until 35. I do use grass fed ghee but need a little more moisture. Because I I just eat ground beef and I choke easily. I was using homemade tomato sauce but want to go full animal products. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am under several doctors’ care. So don’t worry about me asking for medical advice; I’m not nor will I ever. I wouldn’t give you that risk. May the Lord always bless you and yours!

Hi :) I just started watching your videos on Gaps. I have serious candida, histamine and digestion issues after being vegan for years. If you were doing gaps again now would you do it carnivore based or do you still agree with the garlic, veggies etc involved? Thank you
@Boddah.
@Boddah. 4 жыл бұрын
Nightshades are okay if you ferment and/or pickle and then roast and/or boil them. Fermenting helps reduce the sugar and the anti-nutrients which are inflammatory, pickling also helps with breaking drown some of the anti-nutrients, roasting and/or boiling reduces a lot of the anti-nutrients. If you ferment and pickle your nightshades, then roasted and boiled them and then dehydrate them into a powder or crush them and soak in a high proof alcohol to remove any of the remaining oils and sugars; then you dry them out and powderize to make healthier sauces and pastes like tomato sauce, paste or marinara. Make sure you remove the seeds.

How about hemmalian salt , garlic salt , and season salt?
@craigmoore9194
@craigmoore9194 4 жыл бұрын
Salt is necessary and himalayan salt is a better version than table salt. Garlic is a vegetable so garlic salt is not carnivore. Seasoning salt would also most likely contain vegetables and not be carnivore. That being said carnivore is an elimination diet, after eating just meat products for a few months I think it's completely healthy to introduce one non-meat substance at a time. If you're doing carnivore because it's reducing/eliminating physical pain, digestive issues, mental cloudiness etc then you'll know what doesn't work when you add something new in. Give it a few weeks at least as antinutrients/toxins take time to build up and affect the body and if you still feel good add another and do the same! BTW seasoning salt is not 1 single noncarnivore food. It contains many.

Hi friend! I've been enjoying watching your videos. I've been doing Keto since last October, and carnivore for the last two weeks. Due to a few different reasons, I need to transition back to eating more "normally" and keto-paleo (I plan to eat mostly keto-ish without the stress of if I'm actually in ketosis...OMG too many onions!) My question is, how will I know if I'm having a "reaction" from foods that I'm adding back in? I hear a lot about how certain foods can be inflammatory for some people (like egg whites) (and of course I know garbage foods are always inflammatory) but how do I know if something is inflammatory for me? How can I tell? What kind of reactions can I expect from foods that bother me? I've never had any known allergies to anything, not even pollen, and the only thing I've ever noticed is that sugar makes (especially acidic sugar like in fruit juice) me sick to my belly and beans always give me gas-which I don't like anyway. I did notice I burp peanut butter all day after consuming and gained weight when I ate a little while trying carnivore, so I'm nixing that. What have you noticed you're sensitive to? Thanks for any input!

You can probably use any rendered fat that stays soft.

Be careful with bacon sprinkles. Most bacon bits at the store are vegan

You really don't need it on Carnivore.

Don't need it, but I don't think it particularly hurts anything either if you use it from time to time. Does have high salicylate content, so take that into consideration. At the very least I wouldn't group it together with the garbage oils like canola or sunflower oils, if only because it isn't technically a seed oil.

Hallllp. This is not carni related. But instead gaps intro. I am finding it hard to keep getting 100% grass fed bones for broth. Does it matter if the cows are grain finished but really high quality grass fed for the most part? I will literally just not eat until my regular butcher gets bones in lol. Is it really the meat that is the issue? Like as long as they aren't dumping in antibiotics and crap in the aminal. It's pasture raised and all that. Can i feel safe about doing grain finished Bones here and there?

We ate about 1/3 conventional meat on gaps and still had good success :) eat grass fed when you can but store bought is just fine

@@Healthhomehappy I'm going to try chicken stock and hope for the best lol. I can't remember if the local butcher feeds them soy but i don't think they do. All pasture raised from Amish with the chiken. Although I'll have reations to all meat unless it's with the broth. Maybe a touch reaction with the broth. But perhaps I just need to keep steady with the broth and Even with imperfect foods I just need to give it time. Could widly be just die off you know? You're the gaps queen💙💙 so I knew to come to you first. When I'm moved out and in April when I get extra money. I'm definitely getting some of your content and a good tip. Bc you and your family deserve it so much. Your passion and drive. You feeding your baby's liver and cats homemade actual food. Is really awesome. You know exactly what you're doing. And I won't settle for any less of a woman like you in my next relationship. I just got out of a 4 year and she was not passionate like i was about all this. Trying to do the gaps back in 2018. I made it 3 weeks and fell back bc i was surrounded by junk with her. I cannot let that come back into my life. I want to have children with someone exactly on my vibe. But i felt great after 3 weeks. Managed to eat junk for 1 week after and then it was hell again. The fact i made it a week was amaizing And proof that i did a lot of healing in those 3 weeks. I would like your email for when I'm ready for all the content. I'm just in the middle of moving. But i can't resist getting on this diet in the midsts. I don't want any more days of crap. I was okay on carni until i started eating fruits and veggie soup for 3 weeks. The fact i made it 3 weeks is wild. I should be able to get to stage 1 pretty fast I feel like. Thanks for your help!
