I've never seen a better use for an ironing board frame. And that glider is superb!!! I can't get enough of the high aspect wings, though it's slightly ironic that they are the opposite of the bird.

It is an old and very well flying construction. But you will not win with that glider, because the profil is not at the limit it could be today.

Was ist los in 4:52: "Scheiße"? Da ist wohl was rausgeschnitten? Ansonsten natürlich ein schöner Flieger, der für die meisten wohl zu groß und zu teuer ist.

Der Segler sieht ja echt aus wie ein Vogel, was bringt einem die Krümmung in der hinteren kante der Tragfläche?

Die so genannten Winglets, reduzieren den induzierten Widerstand. Damit wird der Gesamtwiderstand reduziert und der Vogel wird aerodynamisch zur Leistung verbessert.
