These all seem to be made by the same factory in China with different front doors. I have a Danby Countertop dishwasher (DDW631SDB) and the yellow supply connector accepts a dishwasher connector kit. Only need to buy three things from ACE Hardware. (Dishwasher Supply Line #4061180 $25.99, 3/8in Repair Valve #4309399 $14.99, Add A Tee Adapter #4309001 $12.49). Supply 2nd: To use the same supply hose but cut off the end and add an extension. (1/2 in. Barb X 3/8 in. Comp Brass Adapter #4000473 $6.99, 3/8in Stainless Steel Supply Line #4058681 $9.99 , and a Hose Clamp #41143 $2.59). The drain side: You have a few options, pull the bottom of the dishwasher off, pull the gray hose from the drain connector, unscrew and replace connector with (3/4in barb coupling #4568242 $2.79, 3/4in Vinyl Tubing, dishwasher tailpiece #43783 $7.59, Tailpiece Washer #44373 $2.49, and two hose clamps #41143 $2.59). Drain 2nd: You can also size down to 1/2in (1/2in X 3/4in Barb Coupling #4568259 $2.39, 1/2in Braided Vinyl Tubing #4315503 $16.99, Dishwasher Branch Tailpiece w/ 5/8in outlet, Tailpiece Washer #44373 $2.49, and two Hose Clamps #41143 $2.59). Drain 3rd: What I did to use the same connector, cut off the end and add an extension. (1/2 in. Barb X 1/2 in. Barb Galvanized Steel Coupling #41763 $4.99, Cut to measure 1/2in Braided Vinyl Tubing #4027603 $1.79/foot, Dishwasher Branch Tailpiece w/ 5/8in outlet, Tailpiece Washer #44373 $2.49, and two Hose Clamps #41143 $2.59). I made a hole in the stainless steel sink and run the lines down under the sink through a Bulkhead ABS Slip x Slip fitting to make the hole nice.

@@suziegretzer3780 Yes, I opted to cut a new hole so I could also continue to use the spray nozzle. If you have a stainless steel metal sink, use a graduated step drill with safety glasses and small bottle of milling oil. Any oil will do, because it helps lubricate the bit and collect the filings. You can deburr by drilling from the other side. Here is a video of how it can be done kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYO7oqmFmtuFmKM

any idea what the thread size is of the supply hose that comes with the dishwasher where it connects to the faucet adapter?

I really want to put mine under the sink, the only problem is my trap is above the dishwasher, does the pump have enough power to push the waste water up above the trap? I am honestly considering making a separate reservoir and using a separate pump with a float bowl switch, keeping my wand and routing the waste water hose through the fourth hole normally used for tertiary wand

Dude this totally worked for me. Followed your list. Had to figure out how to assemble this set up as I went because you didn't exactly show how it went and you didn't point out some of those parts you ordered had to be rearranged (take some of the attachments off) in order for them to fit but man you saved me a from a huge headache. Also want to point out that I had a 1inch opening for the garbage disposal drain. I had to attach a extra one inch Inner diameter vinyl braided hose to the 1inch outer diameter one you have on your list. Last thing I want to point out is that I have a totally different company/brand type of dishwasher but they provided the same hoses. I'm assuming any dish washer that uses the original hoses you show then this video should work for them.

So, does anyone know, do you have to turn the water on and off every time you want to do dishes from the incoming hose with that valve stop switch ? So you'd have to have that in a convenient place I'm assuming ? Basically, will water go everywhere if you don't shut off the water to the dishwasher ? He kind of said something about it in the video which made me think of it... I hope it's not true or it'd be a huge waste of water if you forget to shut it off.....lol Please let me know because I'm considering getting one that's portable, but bigger, and don't know if there's a difference between the two. I hope that's not the case... Otherwise, this isn't a bad idea, but I want to go into the line that my old normal dishwasher is in. Not into the sink... It looks just like a garden hose hook up, and hopefully the drain can go to the same place as the old dishwasher too. Thanks for the list, hopefully it'll work for me too, although I think I need different parts. Just want to know about the water situation if anyone knows the answer. Thanks !!!

Those are for a normal dishwasher. The problem with a counter top unit is the drain line. They have some weird thread that isn't a plumbing thread. While at the plumbing supply store, a plumber was listening and told me about it. The supply line fortunately is 3/4" NPT.
@origamibutturfli91793 жыл бұрын
@@markchidester6239 Then cut off the threaded part. Those drain hose for those countertop dishwashers are a dime a dozen. I plumbed both supply and drain underneath the sink. It looked nothing like this. I cut the drain hose just before the threads on the drain end and clamped it to a dishwasher drain tail under the sink. I added a "T" to the hot water supply and hooked the supply line to it. Done - five minutes!
