Biffy seem to have been spending a lot of time coming back and forth from states for the past few years, and because of that they have unfortunately fallen off a bit. Even at that though, when they reappear for a tour they are phenomenal to watch live. If you've never heard of them at all I'd recommend starting with the album Puzzle to get an idea of what they were before the more "mainstream" sound, for lack of a better term, in Only Revolutions. Anything older than that is a lot heavier than what ended up becoming their sound. I think it's fair to call them Scottish Foo Fighters if you don't care that much about music, but it's only really Simon Neil's accent that lets you know they're Scottish, and while they are in the same genre both bands go for different things. When it comes to singing with your natural accent, I don't think people consciously choose to sing with or without it but if you don't normally sing with one and you try to force it you will sound awful in comparison. I have a fairly similar accent to Simon Neil, being from the same county, but if I sing with the accent I either need to be singing something very soft (almost folky) or accept that I am just going to sound like I'm shouting but in tune lol Other Scottish bands that keep the accent are The View of "Same Jeans" fame (I have no idea if they're still a thing) and Alestorm which are a pirate metal band so they get away with the accent.

Well this music tier list episode dropped quick. I struggle to pick a tier list because I just like sounds/genres more than I do specific artists, but if I had to off the top of my head: Ludovico Einaudi, Eminem, Raleigh Ritchie, Avicii, Linkin Park, Red, Michael Jackson, Jon Bellion, Santan Dave. Honestly though, I'll listen to rock, metal, pop rock, country, pop rock, rap, drill, grime, classical, old western?, K/J pop, afro beats, OST's, EDM, Dance, house garage everything.
