What a fantastic basement. Definitely add that workbench. You can build a shelf underneath for storage. Put up a pegboard for easy access for tools you need a lot. Take care of yourself!

I agree with you, I would have brought everything I could fit as well. I have a metal tin full of odds and ends of screws, metal fasteners, etc., that I have left from projects or pick up from the ground. That tin full of "junk" has saved many a trip to the hardware store and I live in a city. If I were out like you, I would absolutely have a mini hardware store in my basement. Thanks for bringing us along. Also, I was a little surprised that you don't have a bin for fingernail clippings. Just an idea ;)

Hello strong and funny Lady. Glad to see that your injury is healing well. That basement is HUGE , Lott’s of room for storage. Just a word of caution on your revolver. Please don’t be doing the Hollywood closing of your revolver. You stand a chance of damaging the parts that make it a revolver. Ease it closed as you rotate the cylinder until it clicks into the locked position. It will give you a long and reliable service doing it that way. Really like your homestead.

You need some cross country skis my dear, and a strap on that gun, to carry it on your back. 😉 Stuff is accumulating over time. I have a rule of one item in - one out. Mostly same for same, if I havent used it or needed it for the last 5 years, I probably won´t. I have a limited space indoors, no basement, but I have a lean to shed, and a big garage - which is filled with my sons stuff, and a lot of firewood. Haha, love the labels, treasures to be kept! 🙈😂 Well done on the shelves! Remember to put some railing on the stairs as well💕

All your shelves are going to be fantastic!! Having lotsa storage is always nice. Love your huge root cellar! You'll have a wonderful pantry for all your canning. I dehydrate alot. Prepping is really essential these days. Prices keep increasing & the quantity of food items decreasing. Do you need to treat that 2X4 wood to prevent mold or warping or splitting? If so I would love to see how you do that & the products you use because I wanna use 2X4's to have a raised garden. I'm thinking that wood would have to be treated due to rain, snow, severe cold weather & humid hot weather. I bet your excited to have a bathroom! Love your cabin!
