Honestly, I feel you here. I myself have been a Titan main since beyond light. I started playing Warlock when I first got into the franchise with Destiny 2, but switched to Titan because that’s what my team needed, and I loved it. Unfortunately I think I’m probably going to spend less and less time on Titan because Bungie doesn’t seem to care about it as much. It hurts even more because I’m one of the people who actually really enjoyed playing Gambit Prime and now I can barely stand gambit. It’s just frustrating and that’s why I appreciate people like you who stand up and say something, because you love it and know it can be better.

I just find it funny the whole "play a different class" thing, I dropped destiny 1 when I was a hunter main because of the problems it had + solar was precision based and arc was just plain bad, now I come back to destiny 2, play the titan and genuinely enjoy it particularly void, only to see they are nuking the class and any of its non roming supers with yet another roming super on the way. I don't want to say bungie straight up hates the titan class but with all this it's becoming harder and harder to do anything with the titan other than easy mode pvp

I feel like I don’t hear many talk about this but am I the only one hoping that we get more ability variations in the stasis subclasses? All stasis classes only have one super option compared to all the light subclasses having at least two if not three for each super option. And I’ve been disappointed since beyond light on how we only have 3 grenade options for stasis, hopefully strand has more grenade options including the grapple hook. On a side note, do you think they’ll ever add new stasis melee options or new light subclass fragments?

I hope for more aspects for the light subclasses because currently stasis has more than the light subclasses. I’m thinking that in the future adding aspects and fragments will be easier than making new light subclass supers. I’m willing to bed that’s going to be their approach the next time we get anything new for the light subclasses. I hope they make another pass at all subclasses at a later date

@@PocketTuna I get why they only made 3 aspects for the light subclasses at the time and I definitely think it will be cool for them to add more of them in the future, seeing as stasis subclasses get 4 fragments each. I personally just wish we could get more super variations for the stasis supers. I think it would be awesome if the titans could chuck ice spears in his super form like they do when they pick one up off the ground, or see a hunter with a roaming super more focused on rapidly throwing ninja stars. As much of a problem stasis might be in pvp, I love the fantasy of the ice concept in game and I love being able to freeze everything as a warlock.

Been a Titan main since the D1 beta and titans have been through a LOT of ups and downs lol. I'll never forget when the classes had different melee lunge ranges... I still get nightmares lol. Recently been playing a lot of hunter though, I'm kind of having an identity crisis...

At this point I cannot wait for the last subclass to come out (assuming we get another one in the Final Shape) which hopefully will be a Titan W and so we can begin to expect new aspects, melees, supers, etc. in the next Saga thanks to the 3.0 subclass system being so customizable/modular. At least I hope they do that. The Stasis classes, for example, lack the same options the light classes have (ie. different supers, grenades, etc.) and it would be the perfect way to address these issues. Strand/Behemoth feels like green/blue colored Koolaid version of Striker? Give them a new aspect, maybe a new super, etc. on top of the stuff they can already do with balance changes and exotics. So while in past comments I've shown my disappointments in Titan Strand and all that I am pretty optimistic. As long as we throw criticism their way and voice our expectations we should see positive changes eventually. Heck they already added new stuff to the classes with Lightfall right? Some new fragments and Solar got Firesprites. Hopefully they have plans to also add new aspects, melees, supers, etc. down the line and if they do not well, like I said, we should voice our expectations.

And in a very late notice patch notes bungie nerfed half of Titans end game builds in an expansion they keep saying they want to encourage buildcrafting. The class with the fewest CDR exotics got it's only good one nerfed to pieces. Hopefully this means that Titans will get more CDR exotics but let's be honest the last one they gave us was so terrible it might actually be the worst Titan exotic they've ever introduced to the game. Nor did they mention any Titan exotics getting buffed which was the other side of the player complaints. The only exotic that allowed Titans out of the melee everything corner with every subclass got nerfed by their own words "so other exotics could shine." That is a terrible reason to nerf something and then on top of that to also see no mention of any other CDR exotic getting the same treatment and on top of all of that they are already nerfing stats grenades and tons of melees to a point now that maybe only Arc Titan can enjoy an ability build. Void Titan got all of it's utility style of play severely limited. We've already had Bubble lose it's 35% weapon damage buff and is all but irrelevant inside of the only activity it was good for. So over the year Titans have lost their utility class and may be unrecognizable moving forward. We've lost any identity to be the weapon damage buffing guys. And now we are severally limited on ability builds all while continuing to hear they want to encourage buildcrafting. This new mod system needs to be really good and new exotics to encourage Titan gameplay loops because all I keep seeing are ways to keep Titans squarely in the melee only builds section.

As a Titan main in heart, the designs for berserker titan was cool but I have to say it was meh. Thundercrash titan is still one of my favorite super as of creativity. The hoil nerf we saw coming after everyone jumped on it with void and arc 3.0(especially arc 3.0 with the booster and storm nades). I jumped to trying solar and hoarfrost immediately. It's just that with destiny... people just go to YT and find "the best build" and ride it until bungie nerfs it. The 8 months if Thorn and TLW in pvp was just horrible. You either run with the best loadout or you better have dirty tricks up your sleeve from practicing. I'm saying right now that come Friday Strandancer titans kit will have respect put on its name. As much as I wanted a green Tony Stark cannon or a green lantern juggernaut Hulk transformation I think strand titan will terrorize crucible. Also there's still a chance of alternate supers. Never seen a video by you before but I'll keep checking you out. You seem like an actual relaxed creator. Have fun with Lightfall.

I just look at all the titan specific nerfs then add the resil nerf and the difficulty spike to the mix and i cant quite see how strand is supposed to function in end game content when even with 40% dr you still got killed in 1 or 2 melee attacks in any end game content. It feels like they decided to use the grapple to get into melee range but what about getting out alive after your melee? This game isn't made for melee content outside of maybe stronghold with a sword and even that is extremely risky. There are bosses you flat out just cant melee at all unless you have a ranged melee and outside of solar titans throwing hammer they just don't get to do anything but shoot those bosses and use their melee supers to add clear i guess? They really don't like titan to much at least it seems like it to me from a person who plays all 3 classes and mains none.

@@PocketTuna the only saving grace for strand titan is the exotic boots from the campaign with the ridiculous suspend mechanic on the barricade. Its pretty much all you need for all champion types and it feels like it lasts forever. All in all strand titan can still do well just not nearly as well as strand warlock or hunter in my opinion

Yeah I honestly believe that Bungie has basically given up on titans since they were meta in D1. I mean warlocks are completely fucking broken lets be honest. why would heart of inmost light get nerfed before starfire's or solar warlock grenades. Not to mention the new titan super, but I never really cared about that and neither did the developers apparently. I have mained titan ever since the game dropped in 2014. But it seems we get the blunt blows of the nerfs. Bubble is next to fucking useless even a warlock empowering rift makes your weapons deal more damage. thundercrash got nerfed only bc of trials. but the titan exotics are just completely mediocre now. we don't get anything special at all and anything we do get just gets nerfed to be mid asf or just not even remotely viable. I just wish Bungie wouldn't try to discourage us on using an entire class and instead use the other two. Hopefully bungie makes some changes bc I have really considered quitting the game due to how much of an issue this has become.

It could be stupid strong, but we have seen the entirety of it, we know the concept, and the concept is extremely boring. "Titans are so strong"-yes, but boring. Heart getting nerfed sucks. Bungie has no titans on the dev team. The only reason titans are so strong is because bungie has no idea how to balance titans mechanically, so we just get massive stat boosts. We don't get mechanically interesting exotics like gyfalcons or cowl. We just get things that make what we have stronger. We want more interesting things. I dont care if we're not strong, I'd rather have intricate kits "Just play another class"- yea, just, no. You'd have to be incredibly dense in the head to think this and not see the issue with it. "Titans aren't the only one's with a same super, look at warlocks!"- it's more than just the super, it's the entire class. One aspect is literally khepris horn. The other one is literally bastion. And hunters and warlocks get an exotic that is entirely independent of aspects, but titans exotic buffs the already super lame aspect in the worst way possible. It is entirely uninteresting. It's not just the super. For real though, how do you come up with such a kick ass name as drengrs lash, and then give the most basic, worthless, and uninspired aspect you could possibly think of. Hell, you didn't even have to think, it was already in the fucking game!

If anything bungie should be the most experienced with the titan identity, they LITERALLY CREATED MC, long before hunter or warlock even existed.
