I remodeled my rental property and I glued pvc to abs. I used a green colored glue that allegedly is made for that purpose and it passed inspection. That was in Florida, not certain about in your neck of the woods.

I use it all the time and the inspector doesn't seem to have any issues with it. But you're right it is kind of a pea green colored type of glue and you can get it at any Home Depot and I'm pretty sure Lowe's has it as well of course I tried my best to avoid those places so I usually shop at a local plumbing supply outlet for contractors.

I do not make enough money to afford professionals, or tradespeople. Especially where I live so remotely. So do it myself. I know you can do the same if you put your mind to it!

Thank you! Will do! My mother in law got really lucky. Found the tub for only a couple hundred bucks on marketplace. It is a $7000 tub if bought new.

you can use glue from abs to pvc. Not supposed to but I have seen it work for years! And in a pinch one of those really expensive shark bites is a like saver! BTW, when all my chickens freeze to death this winter cuz of no heat lamps, Im sending Biden a bill. My first thought on the bulb ban was heat lamps. But they dont want people to grow their own food. We are fine on Wall meat and burger king.

I do not think many new rules and regulations get thought through all the way. I stocked up on a few boxes of incandescent bulbs for heat purposes. They will last me a few years at least.

How deep did you burry the pex to guest house and what state you live in?

A little over 2 feet. Washington state. I buried pex B which from what I have read is the one to use if running underground. Just to clarify, I do not ask permission or get approval to repair what I own.
