In the comments section of another video (Orthodoxethos) I asked Father Peter if he would openly discuss his standing, wondering where his jurisdiction was and who his Bishop was. This video explained the situation nicely, and I am very appreciative of that! Father Peter’s videos along with Fathers Tryphon and Spyridon, and other videos on Orthodoxy have all contributed to my decision to convert from Roman Catholicism to Orthodoxy. I very much appreciate them all! And I wish them all the very best of everything, whatever struggles and adversities may come their way! Again, many thanks to these Fathers for giving it to us straight, without the evil b.s. of ecumenism!

Father Peter just yesterday did a podcast on the Divine Liturgy and some of the documented miracles our Fathers and brethren have experienced. During the reading Father Peter was chanting a bit. The doors of heaven were opened for us, in those moments in the middle of the podcast, reliving the miracles. Unless i am delusional. Probably that. But maybe he actually can open the doors for us. Can you believe it? But don't tell anyone. Christ is risen!

I could listen to Father Peter talk for hours. He has been a constant voice in my life over the last year, and with God's grace, that will continue. As a cradle Orthodox, it wasn't until about a year ago that I realized how much I truly did not know about our faith. Father Peter has played a pivotal role in my spiritual growth. I will always have a place in my heart for him. He led me to the amazing contemporary saints, and I have been nourished beyond comprehension! Thank you, Father, for all the hard work and all the time that you put in to edyfing the faithful! May The Lord shine His face brightly upon you and your family!

32:55 Fr Peter, I think people have told you what's wrong. You've told people they missed out on something if they were Chrismated instead of rebaptized. I think the Bishops have all balked at the fact that you are commenting on things that are outside your perview, and won't stop even if it's causing spiritual problems for people. I'm giving you another chance because I want to like you and especially want to forgive you, but I am still hurt. A friend of mine left Orthodoxy for the RCC and said it started with the comments you made at retreat you gave. I could see my mom's negative perspective on Orthodoxy after that retreat. If she had been there, it would have been the end of any hope I had of her becoming Orthodox. I went from loving everything about Orthodoxy to seeing every flaw and it feeling very cliquish and small. Your topic was asceticism but you just kept saying everyone else was a heretic and laughing at other Christians. I wish you could see this is a problem instead of constantly defending it. I'm still here listening and trying to forgive or see if it's something in me. I think people who come from Protestantism and Catholicism have a real issue with your hardness of heart towards how Christ has interacted with them in their lives, and you refuse the moderate yourself at all just because you quote some Church Fathers speaking at the time of the schism or something. Saying someone can't have the Holy Spirit without an EO baptism just flies in the face of people's personal experiences.
@wisewomanhealing Жыл бұрын
Peter Heers as been declared uncanonical by the bishops. You know the people we all took a vow of obedience to when we were baptized? We are instructed not to listen to him or read his writings. So, if you are Orthodox you are in disobedience to the bishops. And no, I did not listen to the interview. You popped up in my feed. This is going to be remedied.
