Convert a $40 IKEA Baggebo Cabinet into a REAL GREENHOUSE | DIY Hack | Houseplant Care Routine Tips

I built one based on your shorts, copied most of what you did. Thanks! Only main difference is I found a 5 pack of 11x14" plexiglass on Amazon for 15 bucks. The window sealing is clever but I wasn't coordinated enough to put it up without having seems or tears. Plus a little dab of super glue per corner is all you need to keep the panels up. Also I couldn't justify spending the same price on the shelves as I did on the whole cabinet, so I opted to use the original glass shelves. Anyways, that was long. Thanks again!

I just measured the side of my baggebo and it's like 11 x 39 inches. Do you have several of these plexiglass panels stacked vertically to cover the entire cover of the screened sides? Thanks in advance for your help!

Sometimes it's amazing how things falls into place. My brother gave me three of these cabinets. First thing i thought. First very grateful ofcourse towards my brother... Then second thing i thought i'm gonna convert them into greenhouses, like i saw miljon times on youtube but then with the Milsbo Cabinet. Then i saw the side panels, open. Damn... I am not that handy at all so, i didn't know where to start. And then this great video comes along, i am so thrilled and happy. When i have some days of i can get into it. You explained everything so well and clear, me with my two left hands, i think i can handle it now.... Thanks so much for this great, learnfull video. I am looking forward starting this project. I built this one based on your videos too, except i kept the original shelves and didn’t add magnets. I used Velcro tape to attach the grow lights which has worked great and I already had it so I didn’t have to spend extra $. Also managed to hide the cords by tucking them while assembly the cabinet itself, so you can’t see them at all. It’s working great! Thank you!

Oh I also used the rest of the materials to make my friend one of little cabinets from ikea also based on your videos. All the extra materials are definitely useful for other projects.

I’m going to dive into this project during my Christmas vacation (I’m nervous). Question - what did you use to extend the top grow light cord? I don’t think the grow light cords are long enough to reach down through the hole drilled at the bottom right? Well the bottom one does, but I can’t seem to find how anyone solutions for this. If the magnets keep bothering you, double sided acrylic tape will hold the barinas forever. They won't risk your plants. And it pulls free like command hooks when you need to take things apart.
