Amazing stuff. You get a much better coconut milk and better flavour if you grate the coconut and sqeeze it through the cloth. The flavours for the chicken was spot on....and its true, we Jamaicans usually dont measure our ingredients when we are cooking. The voices of our ancestors tell us how much is enough lol.

Hi Kent survival I've been watching your videos for a few months now and I suffer with depression and anxiety. for years I've locked myself in my room and it's made me worse I've just ordered some camping gear and I'm going to start going camping again as I use to go camping with my dad when I was younger and if it wasn't for you I'd be a lot worse thanks for being a inspiration I can't wait for my gear to arive because I'll be out of this damn house rain of shine thanks again 👍😊

Hey, Thanks for watching and commenting! I'm sorry to hear about your troubles.. I myself have gone through similar and I cant express for helpful the outdoors is.. it recharges the batteries. My only advise would be not to force yourself to do anything.. enjoy the time how your want.. if you've enjoyed the day and just want to go home to sleep, thats fine.. if you're not comfortable in your chosen spot etc.. theres always tomorrow :) Im so happy to hear that my vids help a little.. I cant wait to get camping again myself.. keep wanting to stay when im out but its pushing the rules a little at the moment haha

Yolo I'm just a regular guy but during UK lockdown I have been out every day cooking breakfast in the woods and my Wife commented last night I am a changed man. So much more relaxed and chilled. The first few times were odd as in the UK you aren't supposed to be cooking in public woods but I go out around 5:30 am for a couple of hours before the world wakes up. I make a couple of espresso and bacon and egg sandwiches and it's my naughty treat and I just sit in the woods and listen to the world. Please take that step and let us know how you get on.

I can imagine you saying...”that was a great jump” once you made the other side of the creek. Everytime you cook it is like we are getting a cooking class over the camp fire. I remember the early days of YT bushcraft/camping channels, the extravagance went as far as a fry up and steak for dinner. Look at it now, fancy pantsy awesomeness that leaves the gob dribbling. Mate, you smashed it. It looked the Cat PJ's, the art work in shots was epic, especially the money shot at the end whilst serving, i also loved the Townsend style cooking and cutlery utensils. Lovely little addition. Well done Andy.

Epic chicken Andy!!! On a recent trip to Jamaica we discovered a brilliant Jerk Chicken Shack just outside of Ocho RIos where these Jamaicans were roasting 200 birds at a time on a huge pit with two layers of sheet metal under expanded metal. They had huge bags of Jerk spice brought in by the local girls who made it and sold it on the street. They just used handfuls of spice and scattered it all over each layer of birds (each of which was cut in half), then topped the layer with the expanded metal which they would switch out with the lower layer...we sat at really looonnng picnic tables with one bird each and Red Stripe Beer not to mention the giant ganja logs that were being passed around... that was the best chicken ever....we cried when we had to leave..... great video...cheers

every coconut has 3 "segments" when it grows if you look around the coconut shell you will see 3 definite lines find the mid point of each line give it 1 good whack on each lines centrepoint ad the coconut will just separate into two halves and if you pull it apart whilst turning it upwards all the water will be in one half like a cup of juice.
