The bacteria that killed the Martians with all their great power The remake of it totally ignored this religious aspect of the movie because Hollywood hates Christianity so God had to be removed in their retake, that is why the ending is so pathetic and lakes meaning This is often why retake suck so badly, they miss the point of the movie altogether

I'm a little confused by the sheet protocol. If you get TWO new sheets every Saturday, and put "the" clean sheet on the top, the top sheet on the bottom, and turn in the bottom sheet, then what becomes of the second sheet you get on Saturday? Maybe this is why the one inmate seems confused at 0:47. Stated another way, it seems like every Saturday, 2 sheets are distributed to each inmate but only one is collected. So I'm confused.

I think there was a mistake. Inmates should get ONE clean sheet on Saturday. They remove the bottom sheet, turn it in for laundering. The top sheet is now the bottom sheet, the clean sheet becomes the new top sheet. Repeat the cycle on Saturday. But to start with, they’d get two sheets. Whichever they used for the bottom, that would get turned in first. But how they’d know the “wrong” sheet got turned in, unless they were numbered and taken note of, I dunno.
