@FreddyMarothi If your Renault Clio is still overheating after replacing the water pump, thermostat, and head gasket, consider the following potential causes: ✅ Radiator Issues: 👉 Blocked Radiator: Dirt or debris can obstruct coolant flow. 👉 Leaking Radiator: Check for leaks or damage. ✅ Coolant Issues: 👉 Low Coolant Levels: Ensure the system is properly filled with coolant. 👉 Incorrect Coolant Mixture: Use the correct type and mix of coolant. ✅ Air in the Cooling System: 👉 Bleeding Required: Air trapped in the system can impede coolant flow. Bleed the system to remove air pockets. 👉 Faulty Temperature Sensor: A malfunctioning sensor might give incorrect temperature readings, leading to incorrect conclusions about overheating. ✅ Water Pump Issues: 👉 Improper Installation: Ensure the water pump is installed correctly and functioning. 👉 Blocked Hoses: Check for kinks or blockages in hoses that can restrict coolant flow. 👉 Cylinder Head Damage: If the head gasket was previously compromised, the cylinder head may have warped, causing overheating. 👉 Radiator Fan Problems: Ensure the radiator fan is functioning properly; if it's not kicking in, it can lead to overheating. 👉 Exhaust Blockage: A blockage in the exhaust system can lead to increased engine temperatures. If you're unable to pinpoint the issue, it may be best to consult a mechanic for a thorough diagnosis.

For my tata tiago also i am facing this issue, its coming in red color and buzz sound,after 2 3 min again it goes off and coming randomly.coolent is there, fan is working fine .i gave my car to service center.they also unable to find the issue.what maybe the issue?
@Dashboardwarninglights
@Dashboardwarninglights 6 ай бұрын
@santoshreddy3940 If you're experiencing a temperature warning light and buzzer coming on randomly, even though the coolant is present and the fan is working fine, it could be due to several reasons: 👉 Faulty temperature sensor: The temperature sensor may be malfunctioning, giving false readings to the dashboard warning system. 👉 Electrical issue: There could be an issue with the electrical system, causing intermittent faults in the temperature warning system. 👉 Coolant system issue: There may be a blockage or restriction in the coolant system, causing erratic temperature readings. 👉 Faulty thermostat: A faulty thermostat could be causing the engine temperature to fluctuate, triggering the warning light and buzzer. Since the service center was unable to find the issue, you may want to consider the following steps: Ask them to perform a more detailed inspection of the temperature sensor, thermostat, and coolant system. Request a diagnostic scan to check for any stored fault codes in the vehicle's computer system. Consider getting a second opinion from another reputable mechanic or dealership. Given that the issue is intermittent, it may be challenging to diagnose, but a thorough inspection should help identify the problem.

What about the “service engine soon” light? Is that the same thing as the engine light?
@Dashboardwarninglights
@Dashboardwarninglights 6 ай бұрын
@abbya.9067 The "Service Engine Soon" light and the "Coolant Temperature Warning Light" serve different purposes in monitoring your vehicle's health: 👉 Service Engine Soon Light: This light can indicate a variety of issues ranging from minor emissions problems to more severe engine troubles. It is generally a prompt to have your engine checked and serviced soon to prevent any potential problems from worsening. 👉 Coolant Temperature Warning Light: This light specifically alerts you when your engine's coolant temperature is too high, which can indicate overheating. If this light comes on, it's important to stop driving and turn off the engine as soon as it's safe to do so to prevent damage. In summary, the "Service Engine Soon" light is more general, signaling that your vehicle needs a checkup for potential engine issues, while the "Coolant Temperature Warning Light" is a specific alert related to engine temperature and potential overheating.

Before starting the car I see red coolant light come on and after starting the light goes off what does that mean??? And even after I fill up the coolant is still does the same thing.
@Dashboardwarninglights
@Dashboardwarninglights 8 ай бұрын
@Al-FalahTube1 Are you sure your coolant is actually full? If it is, then the sensor for the coolant level is probably faulty. That light indicates low coolant and in some situations, after the engine warms up, the coolant level rises and the light will go off if the coolant is slightly low. 👉 This generally means that you are either low on coolant, or your sensor is faulty. You'll first want to check the level by waiting for the engine to cool and removing the radiator cap. The fluid should be near the top. If it is slightly low, just fill it and check it periodically. Be sure to use the coolant specified for your car as there are many types and using the wrong one can cause corrosion. It's also beat to buy the pre-mixed coolant that doea not require water, as it will ensure yiu maintain the right mix as you refill, this is important if you are in a cold climate. If it is very low, you should still refill it, but you should take it to a mechanic as soon as possible as you likely have a leaking radiator, hoses or engine gaskets. They can do a pressure test to safely look for leaks, and a test to look for gases in the coolant which indicate a failed head gasket. In the meantime, be sure to check it very often to avoid overheating your wngine, which can turn a minor expense into a big one. If it's losing coolant often, and the weather isn't dropping below freezing, you can use straight water to refill until you can get to the shop. Don't so this if it could freeze as this can cause major damage. If the coolant is full, the issue is likely a failed temperature sensor. This is an easy fix and inexpensive part. You will lose some coolant when changing it so be sure to have some on hand when changing it.

My car has this light on while driving I checked the coolant it was full no leaks in the cooling system and I recently changed the thermostat also what is the reason for this can you please explain thank you
@Dashboardwarninglights
@Dashboardwarninglights 7 ай бұрын
@sainithin5485 If your car's coolant temperature warning light is on despite having a full coolant level, no leaks, and a recently replaced thermostat, there could be several possible reasons for this issue: 1.Faulty Coolant Temperature Sensor: The sensor that measures the coolant temperature could be malfunctioning, causing it to send incorrect signals to the dashboard warning light. 2.Air Pocket in the Cooling System: Sometimes, air pockets can form in the cooling system after performing maintenance such as changing the thermostat. These air pockets can prevent proper circulation of coolant and cause the engine to overheat. 3.Blocked Radiator or Cooling Passages: A blocked radiator or cooling passages can restrict the flow of coolant, leading to overheating issues despite having enough coolant in the system. 4.Water Pump Failure: A failing water pump can result in inadequate circulation of coolant through the engine, leading to overheating. 5.Cooling Fan Malfunction: If the cooling fan fails to turn on when needed, the engine may overheat despite having enough coolant in the system. It's essential to address this issue promptly to prevent potential damage to the engine. If you're unable to diagnose the problem yourself, it's advisable to have your car inspected by a qualified mechanic who can pinpoint the exact cause of the coolant temperature warning light. Hope it is helpful for you. You're very welcome.

Cooleant is good but still comes on and blinks what should I do
@Dashboardwarninglights
@Dashboardwarninglights 7 ай бұрын
@gerryaguirre4611 Red engine coolant warning light means that the coolant fluid is too hot and that the engine is overheating. The reason could be; The temperature outside is high and the air coming to the radiator is warm and not able to cool the circulating coolant. There is a fault it the sensor or the thermostat, basically cooling system faulty. The engine may be working to hard, is either you’ve been driving at fast engine speed for hours or you’re carrying a lot of load maybe towing something or Carrying heavy loads. this isn’t something you can fix yourself. You may have to take it to the garage for diagnostic check.

@Dashboardwarninglights 6 ай бұрын
@basheerbalah668 The coolant temperature sensor plays a crucial role in regulating the engine temperature. If it's malfunctioning or indicating that the engine is overheating when it's not, it can cause various issues, including the AC shutting off as a safety measure. It's essential to have the sensor checked and replaced if necessary to ensure proper engine performance and AC operation.

Okay that's great, but I went to the mechanic today and he said my coolant temperature sensor is okay. My main problem is that when i am driving my car the engine eventually sighs temperature coolant on the dashboard and at the same time with battery light, then the Ac would go off immediately until I knock the dashboard then it will go away and then it will continue waking.. is the problem from the dashboard?? Or is there any sensor inside.

@@DashboardwarninglightsCoolant temperature sensor light comes on at the same time with battery light as if the car is not charging but charging. Then both disappeared when I knocked/hit the dashboard with my hand. What should I do please??? Is it from the dashboard sensor or what. Thanks
@Dashboardwarninglights
@Dashboardwarninglights 6 ай бұрын
@basheerbalah668 It's possible that there's a loose connection or a faulty sensor causing the dashboard lights to come on simultaneously. Knocking or hitting the dashboard might temporarily jostle the connection back into place, which is why the lights disappear temporarily. I would suggest having a professional mechanic thoroughly inspect the electrical system, including the dashboard and related sensors, to pinpoint and address the issue effectively.

@@vlratcliffe1 Yes, what you're describing is normal for a 2011 Toyota Yaris. The green engine coolant light typically indicates that the engine coolant is still cold when you first start the car. Once the engine warms up a bit, the light will turn off, which is why it disappears after you rev the engine or start driving. This behavior is expected and nothing to worry about as long as the coolant level is correct, and the car isn't overheating during normal operation. If you notice any other warning lights or overheating, that would be a different issue to investigate. 👉 In simple steps, please have a look at this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWmmf2OVaL2nrs0

My blue coolant lights always on when starting engine after sometimes when vechile runs n blue light went off
@Dashboardwarninglights
@Dashboardwarninglights 7 ай бұрын
@user-wv8uv5bo6y A blue engine coolant temperature light only indicates one thing: that your coolant, or antifreeze, is too cold. In fact, the temperature is so low that it is possible for your radiator to get too cold, thus resulting in your engine freezing up and not being able to start. But for this light to come on right at startup is normal. If anything, it's simply telling you that you just need to let your engine warm up a bit. In the meantime, your vehicle's system is performing a routine temperature check, and that's normal. It's also an excellent safety feature that wakes up your engine prior to take-off. Allowing your vehicle a couple of minutes to warm up is equivalent to you enjoying that delicious first cup of coffee that starts you up and keeps you going the rest of the day. In most cases, this blue light only stays on for a minute or two. When this happens, driving off right away is ill-advised, especially in certain gears. The blue light will go off when you've given your car sufficient time to warm up. If anything, once your engine warms, all of the other fluids can do their jobs effectively. Your oil will be able to lubricate all parts while your transmission fluid controls your speed and motion well. Plus, power steering fluid can be more readily distributed in hydraulic systems and using the wheel will be safe and effective. But if the blue light persists beyond two minutes, your antifreeze may be at stake. If this happens, it is advised that you turn off your engine and wait for it to cool down sufficiently before checking your antifreeze levels. Failure to do so could be fatal in that you might face a shower of scalding, hot water spraying your face, and third-degree burns may result. Low antifreeze levels may be the result of a leak hiding somewhere in your tank. If you're unsure of how to inspect it for a leak, it may be best to have a professional inspection done.

Blue light means
@Dashboardwarninglights
@Dashboardwarninglights 11 ай бұрын
@Class12_Accounts It's your coolant temperature light, and its job is to indicate the temperature of your engine. When it's blue, that means your engine isn't quite at the operational driving temperature yet. In other words, the engine hasn't quite heated to the point where it's in optimum driving shape. For this reason, it's recommended that you wait until this little blue light turns off before you drive anywhere. If it remains blue and everything seems operational, then don't be too concerned.

Some cars display the engine warning light in different colours according to how serious the problem is. They may also flash. Check your vehicle handbook for the precise definitions for your specific car. The meanings below are typical: Amber engine management light This is an advisory warning, which indicates an engine issue that affects emissions. In most cases, you'll be able to continue your journey, but you should get your car examined as soon as possible. It's always best to check your handbook for advice specific to your car. Flashing engine management light (amber) A flashing check engine light is likely to indicate a misfire in the engine, so the car may judder and could sound rough. Continued driving could overheat and damage the expensive catalytic converter, which is part of the exhaust system. You should immediately drive to a garage, using the accelerator gently. Red engine management light Some cars have a red check engine light that illuminates in the case of a serious fault. If you see this, you should stop when it’s safe to do so, in order to prevent serious damage. Don't drive the car but call your breakdown recovery provider to have the car checked or recovered to a qualified garage that can investigate the issue.
