You can make a case that he's a top five receiver in the league. Him & Davante Adams are a few of the elites who are the best at creating separation at the line of scrimmage & in intermediate routes (breaking away from the DB or OLB) but obviously Davante is at a much greater advantage because of his QB. Glad to see Kupp doing good after his ACL tear. Dude is a threat every time he touches the ball & is a beast in the YAC.

It doesn't matter in real time. The defensive back has to watch his hips to try to adjust; but these moves cause his hips to "lie" which creates either hesitation or bad guessing by the DB; either one means you're beat if the QB throws an accurate pass.
