I've done around 20 dash boards on fiesta Step one take both seats out T20/30/45 screw driver, pick and a ten MM long socket from halfords box Under the knee bag u have to unbolt the ten MM, to get 3/8 ratchet on and a long ten MM it's a ball ache and if u have a halfords box works perfect. I think yours has climate so heater controls should be easy But if not get under dash and unclip red cable on drivers heater matrix Green wire on passenger matrix Everything else is self explanatory Module is near handbrake but it has to be same code I repaired some pre facelift fiesta and modules had diff variations for curtain air bags etc It's a pre facelift dash so be no more than £200 and match the colour don't get black Seat belts are the same but get them in a kit don't buy separate Replace the screen after the dash so u don't break it Also there's a wire on the slam panel with a plug, still be on your old panel, won't reset without that going back on so don't forget Any money under the centre console is mine

nice to see newcommers to the salvage game the bummper can be repaired you would be supprised what can be saved things me you and most people would replace i have seen repaired you should go see a caravan salvage repairer you would be amazed at what they can do with fiberglass . blue silicone hoses and aftermarket airfilters look cool but will cost you and devalue the car always keep things standard and original . yes keep the fan keep every salvagable part nut bolt and plastic clip that is not broken o and start from the front end i would leave the dash till the front end was done then get the screen out before the dash as more ease of access

That's looking good, just don't rush it I'd say from past experience, if it was me I'd perhaps look for a new box with keys and cut the old one off, as for the k&n go for it. I miss doing the odd damage repairable (new place has no garage) so enjoy watching others do them now. 👍

V5 reg documents don't have previous keeper details anymore.

@@ResurwreckAutosUK nothing in car at all that you can see?! Did car come with a V5 as if old style previous keeper still on. If form V62 from P.O. because isn't one, you'll struggle that way. I believe can use proof of ownership to print entire MOT history online, I mean proper individual ones on blank bits of A4. That would give issuing MOT station address, which could be garage you could ring, email or go round with box of "Celebrations". If main dealer (unlikely) you can access service history online I believe. Possible a key shop could try and cut you something that will unlock obd box. Cars For Paul on KZbin uses "Forscan" to reset stuff. He's commuting in a Fiesta ST. He did up a Ford Ka too. Again, someone you can reach out to.

Careful with that aircon gas its very toxic! Also id be repairing that bumper, i followed a guide on a channel called mad for motors when i repaired my corsa vxr bumper, give it ago mate it aint that hard 👍

Keep everything as standard as upgrades cos more and tend to devalue the car when reselling. Minimum outlay, maximum profit 👌🏾

Think you may find obd lockbox key hidden in car somewhere. Under boot trim, under seat, taped under glove box etc. Would make sense to keep it in car but well hidden. Good luck.

Forgot to add earlier re the front bumper lower spoiler instead of trying to drill holes ect where the metal clips fit,just bond it on with a good plastic glue.

@@ResurwreckAutosUK There's glues now out that's as strong as welding,I bonded my side skirts to my Ltd edition fiesta years ago and still holding strong and totally paintable

See if you can get an st. Bumper for it and see if there's any lock numbers on the obd box so you can get the hex key cut for it.

word of warning that part you took off from behind the steering wheel you turned with your finger has got to match with the steering wheel its called a squib if your wheels are straight then wind it fully to left count turns and half them otherwise you will damage it make sure your steering wheel is straight before resembly

Undamaged air filter worth £20, so keep standard. Maybe find Ford breaker near you and get replacement air box and any other bits you need. Or ebay search.

As for the obd box try a company called ProtectAVan who are based in Grays in Essex. They sell these boxes and may be able to cut a key to fit it. Protectavan.co.uk 👍🏾

Can you not have a go at repairing the bumper. The split looks an easy repair and the rest may go back into shape once refitted with a little help from a heat gun. Plastic weld the split using a soldering iron and melt in some metal ties (old paper clips work well) from the back. Have a go mate all you have to lose is a bit of time and may save a few quid. If you want to keep the parts cost down I would look for a breakers yard in your locale. I have used them in the past, serviceable bits at a really low cost. Be careful with the aircon its dodgy stuff. You will need a professional recharge when rebuilding.

I also follow rob and a guy called cars for paul both done fiestas see if they have any spare parts also keep standard as st are only worth mods but you can see that on steve channel think hes called spark plug steve hes done loads to his st also a lad called phil salvage rebuilds is doing one aswell

Always keep any nuts bolts plastic pieces anything that's on any parts your going to throw out thinking the parts no good price of things soon add up

Great vid mate. Have a look at the Mk7 fiesta St front bumpers, I think they're same fitting as the S which are very rare to find. It might be a idea to order a replacement dash asap so you can see where the remaining bolts are that need undoing. Plenty of complete slam panels on flea Bay inc radiators. Stick to OEM bits unless you are going to keep the car, sports mods wont make it worth anymore money pal. Mick
