Here's the thing. He obviously came in strutting his camera in front of people and purposely looking for a reaction. They also told him they needed his name to release a record to ensure it did not go to a minor. His refuse to write his name but willing to write his home address is just the the fact that this is a complete man-child looking to cause a scene. At this point, they are refusing his form and he has no right to force anyone to file anything, if he believes this infringes upon his rights then he needs to take it up to the courts. He is done, he should have left.

I think it's because as time goes on, and these auditors experience the personal ins and outs of dealing with law enforcement, when they appear, it has the opposite effect on auditors. Instead of chilling the suspect with fear, like a normal person, it invigorates the auditor because cops are their nemesis, metaphorically speaking. When an auditor experiences a police officer that was called for unlawful reasons, it must be a similar feeling that a cop gets when they catch a criminal a big rush of endorphins, focus, and purpose. Thank you to all auditors who put their freedom, their money, and their lives at risk by dealing with police on a daily basis like this.

The initial woman police did well. She didn't know the law about information requests and didn't act like she did. Even lawyers don't know every law, that's why you have criminal attorneys, maritime attorneys, tax lawyers, etc. And the lady officer did what she was supposed to and deferred to other entities and stayed out of it. That's not cowardice, it's prudence. And you notice that the first police lady got the hell out of there. She makes good decisions. She will be going up the ranks for being levelheaded if any of her bosses have good sense.
