Okay, so… I graduated in 2012 and things may have changed since then I guess but when I was in school this is not at all how the SATs worked. First of all, your teacher doesn’t administer them, you sign up and choose the day from like a list of days then you go to a separate location with a proctor who gives the exam. Unless it’s the practice SATs which usually take place at school, but they’re just practice they don’t count for anything lol. And also you can retake them in the second part of the year no matter what, you have to pay for it so of course they’ll let you take it as many times as possible 😂

I went on to Totally Studios channel, & they have several former Dhar Mann actors in their more recent videos, including Mair Mulroney who was one of his most popular actors and one of his most outspoken critics (she’s the one with the short blonde hair who always played a b*tch). Maybe one of the reasons these videos are such lower quality than Dhar Mann’s is because Totally Studios spend a higher percentage of their budget on actually paying their actors fairly, as I doubt Mair or any of the other former DM actors would take on these gigs otherwise.

Idk, I don't think Andrew is totally in the wrong here, but the message is definitely convoluted and can potentially teach kids that they can do this kind of thing. I was in a similar situation back in school. I was held to such high expectations that I wasn't really able to enjoy my childhood and I often acted out in retaliation. I wasn't allowed to eat certain foods, go to friends' houses/have friends come over, or attend parties, even school ones. Andrew definitely shouldn't have faked a death, but I do understand the feeling of desperation to have a normal life. I did everything in my power to get my parents off my back and it never worked 3 years later and I'm actually able to see all of my mental issues, now that I'm not occupied nearly 24/7 Forcing children to excell in school can be dangerous for the child and result in them doing nothing with their life after they graduate...Or it could result in them dropping out of college and putting the family in debt. Regardless, Andrew isn't really at fault here. Yes, you should never fake a death, that's stupid, but i can see where Andrew was coming from. This would've done much better as a relatable story and if it had been written by someone more experienced-

When I took the sat in 2018 (I’m dating myself here) it was available several times in one year (twice in my school district and others at the neighboring district). The SAT is through the College Board, not the state, so you aren’t required to take it for a class. It is really common to retake the SAT, you just have to pay a second time. I’m wondering if they did any research before making this video.

i took the SAT last year, and different places do it differently but yeah this isnt at all how it works. junior year we spent the majority of the year prepping for it to then do it in i think april sometime? previous years also did prep work but not nearly as much. we did it through my school but everyone was assigned into groups based on alphabetical order via last names and then assigned a random teacher to proctor it. if you do miss it there is a make up chance, the time when the next juniors take it, or it can be taken by signing up and going to wherever has it on a test day(idk if it costs i forgot.) we started at 8 finished by 12:30 but that was w breaks and then also issues (there def wouldve been time to go to the party😭 but also it isnt necessarily even in saturdays but that depends too)
