Any person who shows these kinds of videos the lesson is always “you should have been nice because the person you fired/picked on/cheated on/lied to is super rich now”. There’s no lesson about kindness or anything. The lesson always involves money. It’s so twisted and wrong and millions of people watch these crap videos where the only thing they learn is being rich is the only goal and solves all your problems. @@phoenixgirl70 exactly, the lesson should be that you should always treat others with respect and kindness, no matter if they are rich or poor. you should never be a shallow minded being who only cares about material possessions and aesthetics. instead, it teaches these kids to be shallow minded. in reality, being rich doesn't change a person and when it does, its usually for the worse. and also the whole ableist undertone of these that dhar mann vids have too, you will never be good enough, attractive, confident, wealthy, etc. until you are cured/able bodied. acting like u cant do Anything in a wheelchair.. which is obviously false. you're vulnerable, helpless, useless, weak, bullied, insecure, hurt, depressed, poor, ugly when you're disabled and you're strong, intimidating, confident, deserving, wealthy, smart, attractive, talented, can stand up for yourself when you're cured. it makes me feel like utter garbage since it seems to just be getting worse for me as i get older. its genuinely dehumanizing for the disabled folk and teaches able bodied folk the Wrong things. being disabled isn't wrong and i don't need to be fixed to be worthy of respect sorry for the textwall stranger... but I'm also Very frustrated & tired of this stuff lmao

What was he doing in Iraq though? Killing civilians? Isn’t that wrong? Like I get that you’re mourning your husband and I have absolutely no problems with that, because he was your husband but like I’m sorry but when USA’s military people say “oh i became disabled because i fought in iraq/afghanistan” it makes me cringe so darn bad. The US military has been killing people there since ages, they dismantled Syria, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan it’s almost ironic how they want the rest of the world to empathise with them. Hi, I am so so sorry for everything you are going through. You absolutely do not deserve it and none of it is your fault. I know this doesn't make up for anything you have experienced, but I just wanted to remind you that you absolutely matter. You have a place in this world and it is important. You are so so strong, and while it definitely doesn't always feel like it, you are loved. By people like me. People you might not even know or realize are cheering you on. You absolutely deserve the world and more. You deserve to feel happiness and to laugh and smile. Seriously. If anything has helped me through hard times, it's focusing on the positive things, no matter how small. For instance, I actually got up and ate lunch today. It's not a big thing, and most people think it's a given, but it's hard for me. But I did manage to do it today, and it's one step closer to being healthier. I also congratulate myself for drinking water, because I never do that either. Even if it's only one cup. It's still one whole cup more than yesterday. Maybe you don't usually brush your hair, but one day you do. Or maybe one day you got your homework done faster than usual. All of those things are absolutely worth celebrating. I know it seems silly, and those all seem like things "anyone can do" but the reality is sometimes they are really hard for people. I find it incredibly hard to find reasons to even get out of bed, so whenever I do find I reason, I celebrate my little victory. It also should be said, that even a single glass of water may not improve our confidence very much, ESPECIALLY living with a narcissist, who love to downplay your victories. So it's important to remember we will heal and grow on our own time, and there is no wrong or "too slow" way to do it. As long as we actively making an effort(literally as simple as drinking water or doing homework), we are making progress and moving forward in our goals 😊 Something else you might be able to look forward to, is that high school will eventually end. And you will have more freedom in finding a job, and once you have secured a job, it's only a matter of time until you can move out of that hell hole. I completely understand if that doesn't feel reachable. I know that feeling all too well. I stopped dreaming a while ago, because I didn't actually believe anything will come true for me. The truth is, they won't come true, not unless we actually aim for it. And I ABSOLUTELY know you can do that ❤️ It might seem terrifying to get a job, but really, I bet it's something you can easily handle, because I'm sure you've dealt with far worse in your life. The fact that you are still able to laugh shows your strength. I really do believe in you! I'm so sorry for typing 4 ass paragraphs 😂 and you might even think most of it is a load of horse shit. I'm just speaking from experience and what actually worked for me to get me through some tough times, and hoping it might help you. Something that is still absolutely, and unequivocally true however, is that you deserve better, you are important, and you are loved, if not by any people you know in person, by me, and I'm certain Jake and many others as well. I just wanted to try and possibly give you a light to focus on, and maybe even improve your life a tiny smidgen. Because you are important, and I love you. I absolutely know you will pull through this crap, I know you are strong, and I believe you will be happy, I do. You surely deserve it. ❤️❤️

I haven’t gone on a date in a long while because the stress of just explaining it all is too overwhelming for me. It’s nice to feel less alone seeing other young people who have disabilities in the comment section talking about theirs. This is really isolating and sometimes people without disabilities can be so stupid and unempathetic.

I love how Dhar Mann copycats do the Dhar Mann Thing to progressively worse degrees of deafness with the already nonexistent subtlety transitioning into a loud blaring air horn yelling directly into your ear extremely basic and poorly delivered messages that are written so badly you'd think they were for children, yet almost always too adult or morally flawed to actually show to one.

So the answer isn’t that he had the money to get prosthetic legs and the proper physical therapy to use them, but that he had the connections to get robotic mechanical legs.

As a military partner (unmarried) of somebody that was deployed, first off the military would NOT contact you until you’re married. They really don’t acknowledge you unless you’re a dependent of the service member. Second off, in my experience, it’s kinda weird they still kept him deployed after his legs got blown off. Usually they’ll send you back to your home base you were at before deployment instead of staying in a war zone with your legs missing. Also weird he didn’t call her and tell her about his injury. They do have phones in the military even if it’s not a situation where you get to keep your personal one. My partner couldn’t keep his phone but did have access to a public computer on base to keep in touch. I’d probably break up with him if he chose not to communicate with me at all for months especially about a life changing injury. Also everybody knows if you’re cheating on your partner using a wheelchair, you gotta put the evidence on a shelf instead of right on the floor near the entrance /s.

I’m with my spouse right now and he’s a cis het man from an extremely religious background. I came out last year as non binary and prefer they/him pronouns. I’m changing my name. I will be going on hormones this year. While having understandable misgivings at first due to ignorance/up bringing, he’s been incredibly supportive and we’re still together and happy. We’ve had our own mental health/physical health struggles. It’s about knowing the person you care about most is ok and happy.

Shit like this makes me glad that my partner and I are both disabled. I hate that this IS a reality for disabled people, it's a very real fear that we have. I wish this was made more seriously, because it should be spread more that...y'know...disabled people are still worthy of love and are, in fact, still people. People treat veterans like shit and it baffles me, that's partially why I'm anti-war. It hurts so many people, during and after. If our troops are so important, fucking treat them right!! Disabilities never strip a person of being worthy of love.
