I use ORLY bonder base coat under my polish and I think it helps- I wore the red for 3 days with minimal tip-wear and no topcoat. I'm currently wearing Vroom on 3 fingers, and Meteoric over Thrilling and have zero tip wear after 24 hours, with seche vite topcoat.

I know! It's just normally something I like to buy in-person for two reasons: I like to see what I'm buying before hand. and I try to not "showroom" local stores because I've seen so many bookstores etc have to close up shop because of this practice. However, I do buy things online cheaper all the time, but once I've bought it -oh well!

The Pro Longwear one is one of my faves- I don't notice it bouncing back as long as the color isn't too light. But you may want to try OCC Conceal and NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer.

Oh that would drive me insane too! Plus I like that these are perm colors so if you like it, you can replace it!

Whoa- what a marathon you've had! I don't really do anything special, once a year I might use the rembrandt whitening kit I get a Target. I drink a lot of coffee, tea and eat berries, so I try to brush them after eating something that could stain.

I've been really liking lining my lips with a purple lipliner and then putting a dark red lipstick on top. It ends up looking so awesome!

omgosh i love lit cosmetic, i discover it back in 2003 in this second hand store. when i seen the glitters on the wall i knew it was love at first sight and i was in heaven. i still have the glitters, it taking forever me to use it. sad part is my hubby know im in love glitter

a white base always helps me! I usually use NYX's white base. Also, if you pat the color on instead of swiping it, it'll help too

Great review. Can you do a tutorial on applying the speckle / heavy glitter polishes, because whenever I apply them the specks end up in one clump on the edge of the nail. As usual when you apply it, it's perfect.

I know you won't need to buy the Laura Mercier powder for quite a while but thought I'd share that I've found a great super cheap alternative. E.L.F. makes an under eye setting powder in their studio line ... which is $3. I was initially skeptical, but I've used it for a few months now and LOVE it. It doesn't cake, and has no color. It's perfect for setting concealer.
