i have done it as well. The big negative is parasite from the bivalve which making my fish die. So we need to kill parasite first

I think the states doesnt use freshwater clams in their ponds because many of the US species have a parasitic stage where they live in the gills of fishes and then drop off when they are older.

Lovely and stunning aquariums- but I do prefer less fish in the tank. I like to study and know each fish individually, their behaviour and character. Once the numbers get beyond being able to identify them - its not quite the same for me. However the dedication and skill to keep so many fish in such a pristine tank can’t be understated. 👍
