I have a question that may have been covered but I may have missed it, I know there was a time when using my Roku that when I turned the TV off and then ON again it would start up where I had left off viewing You Tube. Now I notice the Roku keeps taking me back to the home screen very annoying. Is there a setting I'm missing? Using a Roku box hooked to my TV. Thank You hopefully they restore that option.

I have an issue with both roku tv's, they are freezing up on sling tv. I've been in contact with Sling tv, roku, and att with no help, Air tv and fire stick are playing Sling tv fine so I'm doing TWD on the Air tv plaver all day.

@@whodat99991 Have you tried uninstalling SlingTV channel, restarting the tv, then reinstalling the channel? Restarting (from the menu) after uninstalling should give the tv time to flush that part of memory before installing it again. Seems like your SlingTV app might have gotten corrupted in memory.

It may have change but I understand to set up the roku with non-payment you need to call in.

You don't have to pay for Roku but if you subscribe to a pay service like Netflix or Hulu you will have to provide a payment method but it will be through those services and not Roku

I wanted to buy my daughter a new TV and have never heard of a Roku. Anyway when she took her TV in her room to hook it up, she discovered that it was a Roku. We have never heard of one, and do not know how to set it up. Well that's been 3 months ago, and it is still sitting in her room. About a week after I bought it, at Walmart, I asked the Customer Service lady if they would take it back and exchange it. She told me that we could use it as just a normal TV and that is what we wanted in the first place, so I didn't bother to exchange it, but we still cannot hook it up!

The downside of the Roku TVs is that you have to have Internet to first set it up out of the box from what I have read on a Best Buy review. I believe you set up a Roku TV similar to a Roku streaming device. Once it is set up, you can probably access the HDMI ports and the tuner.
