Thank you all so much for your positive response and feedback. Jesus it was scary to put this out because it's a totally new sphere for me but I'm so happy to hear that the message has reached many of you. And to anyone asking, this is a highly fictionalized story. There was a kid named David in my high school who was viewed as "different" and ended up committing suicide after graduation. But almost all of the bullying (shoving in trash cans, spitting, beating up, etc.) never happened. Call it dramatic exaggeration. I probably did make fun of him from time to time but back then, I didn't think it was bullying. I honestly have no idea nor can I remember. I could've been a bully. And that's the message I'm trying to convey. I just wanted to write a song about bullying from the bully's perspective as he realizes that what he did was wrong. Many of us don't understand the consequences of our actions at a young age, but hopefully this song can shed some light. Thank you all again

you need to find your "rap voice" this was incredible. the video, audio, mixing and mastering was really well done. My only piece of advice don't give up, keep trying, stay hungry and think about taking some vocal lessons, your rhymes and hooks were catching and really clever. Talent will only get you so far, it's time to perfect your craft. #GetToWork

the amount of times i would listen to this song and prayed to a merciless god that one day my bullies would feel this way about what they did. i would constantly question things like “would i have to be in an urn before things get better?” is alarming. thank you for bringing awareness and helping me get through fifth grade where i was, in fact, literally crowded around and about to have to fight for myself when nobody else would fight for me.

Cordero, words cannot come close to describing how grateful I am to you. These lyrics you have written are incredibly powerful. Not only are you really talented, but your passion is beyond inspiring. Thank you for giving David, and countless others, including me, a voice. I've always been an outsider; I’ve been bullied as long as I can remember. I've almost been killed and have attempted suicide. Thank you for being vulnerable and admitting to the world what you've struggled with. That takes a vast amount of courage which I commend you for. This chapter in your story has deeply touched my heart. And upon reaching other ears, I know your story will change a myriad of hearts. I am really sorry that you are carrying this burden. My heart hurts for you. I hope writing and singing this song has taken off some of that weight you’ve been carrying on your shoulders. I will be praying for you, especially regarding this. I hope you have people you can talk to that help you heal. Thank you a thousand times.

I appreciate your support but I don't want to take false credit or accept tainted prayers. A lot of this song was me taking creative liberties with the foundation of a classmate in my high school named David who was "different" and ended up taking his own life after we graduated.

Seriously your video deserves to be shared all around the world. Too many people are bullied. Too less try to help them. Your music was unfortunately true. If you help, you are the next target. I even heard aguy from my university say that we can do nothing just be happy that it's not us, because there's always someone bullied. I was like, hey man, since when this is normal ?! Anyway, I totally agree with you and think we all have to take this problem more seriously.

Well I found my new favorite song. This is so incredibly amazing, I just wish everyone could hear it. Several kids at my school have committed suicide this year, some of them were my friends. I tried my best to help them, but it wasn't enough. I wish everyone would finally realize how big of an impact there words and actions can have on other people. I've personally been bullied a lot at school to, so this song means a lot to me. Please make more music, you are amazing!

It's easy to sit back and think that had I been there with him, I would have beat the shit out of those bullies but the truth is that, had we been there, perhaps most of us would enjoy it, some might even join the bullies. Exceptions are those who had a similarly rough past. Songs like this really helps by sensitising the audience that bully is not to be taken lightly. Kudos to you Cordero Roman. Keep up the good work.

Wow what an awesome video with a lot of meaning in the lyrics. I remember back in 2004 when I would get bullied in middle school for reading comic books and playing yugioh. I remember a guy stole a xmen comic book and wrote profanity all over it, I remember once a guy took my yugioh cards and threw them away in one of those big dumpsters. I was hurt and cried so much because those cards were a gift from my dad. When my dad asked me where are the cards he bought me because me and him would duel I cried so much and told him to forgive me because they were stolen from me, all he said was that it was ok and we went to Walgreens and bought me the Kaiba starter deck which I still have. Today im 25 and those 5 guys that would bully me are in jail and 2 of them got released and work as waitors while I work as a account manager for a I.T. Company. Winning! :-)

Usually I don't listen to music like that but this is amazing. As I know art doesn't come from nothing, please stay strong. I hope you can relate. Eventually there is no way how to stop bullying. People are just like that. They might bully someone over many years and when they're 30 they won't even remember. So to everyone who gets bullied or goes through rough times, stay strong. I won't say that violence is not the answer, because in case of bullying it often is. I think that mostly, for a lot of people who go through this hell, it's either kill them or kill themselves. Mostly they're afraid of talking to teachers or parents, that's why they're in this hell all by themselves. So to everyone out there who deals with bullying in anyway, no matter what you chose to do, stay strong.

Hi Cordero! I'm surprised of your skills. I think you're a talented young man. I noticed you a couple of months ago and appreciate your happy and loving take on things. Earlier on I heared you talking about your music. And now to hear your work, absolutely great. I've never been bullied that bad, but I love that you speak for a group so big. I think it's like a big understanding hug from you to all that are bullied. This song really reminds me of Eminem in his early years. The way you speak trough your emotion is spot on. I think your voice will develop even more with a depth and I believe you can become big. The music video is well produced and with a female singer accompanying you I see it as a good production for a bigger market. Your writing skills are great. Keep practicing and enjoying making music like this. I wish for you one day to make a Comfortabele living out of whatever it is you love most. I love it how you are so handsome as well ;) Enjoy all the happy comments!

This video made a powerful statement and is very inspiring that you did something positive thru your insecurities by helping other insecure people and that helps to cut down or make the bullying in society less than it could be. Bullying is everywhere and I know that you're very brave to put out a message like this one. We're all flawed and that's ok. This tragedy is devestating but you're so powerful because you realized your mistake and created videos to help other insecure people. And I think bullying is always going to exist but you're making a difference in the world by putting this out there. I'm truly sorry about david. He sounds beautiful and so are you for not staying like you were and growing beautifully. This is inspiration and thank you for being sooo real.
