This is a relatively simple experiment, meant to gauge how people react to saying "I hate you" and "I love you" back to back, along with how the viewer experiences emotion while hearing these two powerful statements repeatedly.

Hearing the 'hate' led to feeling uncomfortable and.. hated haha. the 'love' on the other side simply gave a smile and shared happyness. it even made the people that just spreaded the hate, look nice again lol. #loveoverhate!

Sayin _I love you_ takes more courage than saying _I hate you_. When you love, you are letting yourself be vulnerable and honest rather than amping up behind temporary (or even prolonged) anger. Both Hate and Love can fade with time...which one is worth rekindling? Hope to see more of your 'experiments' coming, Cordero :)

It actually feels weird. After hearing ' I hate you ' so many times .. every single ' I love you ' clip sounds fake to me ... It's like when someone says or does somethings mean it's easy to create negative feelings, but creating positive feelings again it's so much harder. Once you heard someone say ' I hate you ' to your face you don't simple believe them anymore once they say the opposite. Unfortunately hate is so much bigger, it's stronger ... it's sad

very good experiment. It really shows you how powerful words are. when they said hate and looking directly in the camera I felt uncomfortable and was actually getting to me abit then as soon as they said i love you, even their expressions changed to smiling and made me calm and smile as well. people should be more aware how they impact the world with simple words. you could literally hurt someone without knowing it or make their day the best thing.

I loved this. It was so interesting seeing how they all reacted to the words they were saying. Hate made some of them uncomfortable but so did love. That one guy in the gray shirt and repeated the phrases a couple of times said hate with a little more feeling and he's right sometimes hate does create more emotion. Which is crazy because no one wants to say "I hate you." But maybe we take it more seriously because we here it less. There does need to be a lot more love around but it's interesting how we become numb to hearing "I love you"

When they said I hate you I slowly started taking it personally and it made me angry and sad and then they said I love you and I felt happier and joyful but the feeling of being hated still lingered and it was strange hearing the same people say both which are complete opposites, one after the other. It was almost like I couldn't forgive them for hating me and I needed more time. Weird.

of course i prefer but also through the screen it felt more truthful hearing them say i love you than i hate you bc i think it's easier to love somebody than to hate somebody. even if it's a stranger on the street you find more things to love than to hate about them. so even if it's a bit early to tell a strange person that you love them it's more truthful than telling them that you hate them even if it's only for make them AND you feel better.

While growing up I was taught that hate and love are two powerful words so in my mind, I decided to only use them in 'important' situations.
