I'm glad Qudans is getting the recognition he deserves now, this man is a Tekken legend, but he felt very underrated until Tekken 7. I was very surprised to learn how many people never heard of him until recently. That hiatus hurt him more than I thought it did.

There's no way he was underrated in TTT or DR. Maybe after DR people weren't really aware of him because he had stopped and the Knee hype just grew... but never underrated honestly.

David Hoyos dumbed down games with auto-combos and party games don't count.
@aliman4986 жыл бұрын
Hey Don't fight over which fighting games are the "best". It all depends on the sort of gameplay you're interested in. Btw Melee is super complicated and from what I've heard, DBFZ's auto combos don't undermine the game's depth. This is coming from a Tekken fan btw. In my opinion it's the most exciting fighting game to play and especially watch right now, but that's mainly because I have an understanding of its mechanics. All 3 fighting games are great; it just depends on what you enjoy in terms of gameplay.

This was a great video to not only give fans and newbies some insight on these two, but also humanizes them as they reveal their internal struggles they faced within the early part of their careers. As we've seen with them and many others, being successful playing videogames IS a reality and it can happen. So long as you stick to it. Qudans inspires me to no end and the fact they both decided to veer away from the stereotypical lamer-gamer image by getting in shape alongside their gaming goals is a powerful statement in itself. I love the fact that I can commit to playing games as much as I do while still hitting my fitness goals! Now I just need a local group to chill and game with lol😅

"I feel that the image of a gamer is always sitting, overweight, constantly playing, and in some cases seen as otakus." Sadly this is a stereotype which exists because it is true. Props to Qudans for being tough IRL and in-game!! It's good to play physical sports outside of esports. They make you better at games, and the games make you better at the sports... You git double gud :) Plus, you get a good body and can get a real lady instead of a body pillow XD
